Lexus LX700h VIP ECTAV0008 - 2026 Lexus LX700h VIP - 3.5L Hev At - White with Tan Interior

Highlights

• Hybrid powertrain for lower fuel use in GCC stop-start traffic
• Four seats with second-row VIP captain chairs
• 790 Nm of torque

Summary

The 2026 LX700h VIP represents the first hybrid flagship in the model's history, blending immense low-end torque with refined city efficiency. As a four-seat VIP edition, it swaps traditional utility for a private-jet experience, featuring reclining rear thrones and a dedicated climate concierge. This hybrid configuration is particularly effective in the GCC, providing silent low-speed cruising and reduced consumption during heavy urban traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. For the executive buyer, this white-on-tan combination offers the strongest resale profile in the region while delivering 457 horsepower for effortless highway overtaking.

This Car vs Other 2026 LX700hs

With most 2026 models just entering the used market, this example stands out due to its VIP four-seat configuration, which is rarer and more sought-after than the standard seven-seat layouts. Its white exterior is the highest-demand color in the GCC, ensuring it maintains a price premium over darker or less common shades. Given its age, any mileage on a 2026 model is considered exceptionally low, offering a 'near-new' mechanical advantage to the next owner.

VIP vs Lower Trims

The VIP trim is a significant departure from the Overtrail or Luxury grades, focusing entirely on the rear-cabin experience with two massive captain's chairs that offer power-extendable leg rests and massage functions. It adds a specialized rear-seat entertainment system, a 25-speaker Mark Levinson Surround Sound system, and a dedicated 'VIP' climate zone with overhead vents. While lower trims prioritize passenger count or off-road hardware, the VIP includes fingerprint engine authentication and an ultra-quiet acoustic glass package as standard.

LX700h vs Segment Rivals

The LX700h leads rivals like the Range Rover Autobiography and Cadillac Escalade by offering a body-on-frame hybrid architecture that combines world-class reliability with silent electric assistance. Its 98-liter fuel tank provides a massive cruising range for cross-border trips between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, exceeding many competitors' total range. Lexus also holds a distinct advantage in the GCC with its significantly higher long-term value retention compared to European luxury SUV counterparts.

Running Costs & Resale

The hybrid powertrain achieves a manufacturer-estimated 10.0 L/100km combined, a substantial improvement over the LX600 in GCC city traffic. Maintenance is supported by the most extensive luxury service network in the region, with authorized centers in every major GCC city and parts availability that outclasses all European rivals. Historically, the LX maintains roughly 90% of its value after the first year in the GCC market, making it one of the safest financial investments in the luxury SUV segment.

Performance & Capability

Generating a massive 790 Nm of torque, the hybrid system provides instant throttle response that is perfect for the fast-paced multi-lane highways of the UAE. The 10-speed automatic transmission is paired with a full-time 4WD system and a center locking differential, ensuring that despite its luxury focus, it remains a capable 4x4. The Active Height Control allows the vehicle to raise itself for sand or gravel obstacles, while the hybrid motor provides precise low-range control that gasoline-only engines cannot match.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around two individual rear seats that recline up to 48 degrees, featuring both ventilation and heating to combat the extreme GCC summer. The Lexus Climate Concierge coordinates the four-zone AC with the seat temperatures to ensure rapid cabin cooling, even after the car has been parked in direct sun. A factory-installed refrigerator in the center console and high-definition rear screens turn the back row into a mobile office or relaxation suite, shielded by deep-tinted acoustic glass.

Safety

Equipped with the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, this model includes pre-collision systems with pedestrian detection and a 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor that is essential for parking a vehicle of this size. The adaptive cruise control and Lane Change Assist are particularly beneficial for long desert highway drives, while the 10-airbag system and robust frame provide class-leading passive protection. Standard blind-spot monitoring helps navigate high-speed traffic, and the Multi-Terrain Monitor provides a clear view of the ground immediately surrounding the tires.

The bottom line

This 2026 LX700h VIP is the definitive choice for the GCC executive who requires the reliability of a Lexus with the uncompromising luxury of a four-seat limousine.
