• Hand-built engine
• Low-range transfer case with locking differentials

Summary

This 2026 G63 AMG represents the latest iteration of a GCC cultural icon, finished in the region's most liquid resale color combination of Black on Black. As a Japanese-spec import, it offers a sophisticated alternative to local dealer stock, maintaining the exact same hand-built V8 biturbo powertrain that has defined the model's status for decades. The 2026 model year introduces refined MBUX software and mild-hybrid assistance that significantly improves low-speed smoothness in Dubai's stop-start traffic. With its unmatched blend of executive presence and genuine desert capability, it remains the gold standard for luxury SUVs in the UAE market. For the serious collector or daily driver, this listing offers a fresh, high-specification vehicle ready for immediate use across the Emirates.

This Car vs Other 2026 G63 AMGs

While typical GCC annual mileage for high-end SUVs can reach 25,000 km, this specific unit presents as a fresh arrival with lower utilization typical of Japanese imports. The Japanese-spec status often means a focus on cosmetic preservation and strictly paved-road use prior to arrival in the UAE. The solid Black exterior is the top-performing resale color in the local market, ensuring faster turnover and stronger value retention compared to experimental matte or bright finishes.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The G63 AMG is a significant mechanical step up from the G500, replacing the inline-six with a handcrafted 585 hp V8 biturbo engine. This trim adds the iconic AMG-specific Panamericana vertical-slat grille, flared wheel arches, and high-performance side-exit exhausts that are non-negotiable for GCC buyers. Inside, you benefit from the Nappa leather interior and the AMG Drive Unit steering wheel buttons, which allow instant adjustment of the suspension and exhaust notes without taking your eyes off the highway.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The G63 stands alone against rivals like the Range Rover SV and Lamborghini Urus by offering a rugged body-on-frame construction and three independent locking differentials for genuine off-road dominance. While the Urus focuses on track-biased agility, the G-Class provides superior ground clearance and a commanding upright driving position that is preferred for long desert highway hauls. Its boxy design also offers more practical vertical cargo space than the sloped rooflines of modern performance crossovers.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 15.3L/100km combined, though heavy city use in summer heat can increase this toward 17.5L/100km. Service intervals are recommended every 15,000 km at specialized luxury centers across the UAE, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi, where parts availability for the M177 V8 engine is excellent. As a Japanese spec, it may trade at a slight discount compared to GCC-spec dealer cars, but its high global demand ensures depreciation remains much lower than standard luxury sedans.

Performance & Capability

The 585 hp V8 biturbo engine propels this SUV from 0 to 100 km/h in a verified 4.4 seconds, an incredible feat for a vehicle with its aerodynamic profile. It features 229 mm of ground clearance and a 700 mm wading depth, making it mechanically over-engineered for even the most intense flash floods or weekend sand dunes. The 9-speed SPEEDSHIFT transmission is tuned specifically to handle the 850 Nm of torque, providing effortless overtaking power on the E11.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed for extreme climates, featuring a high-output air conditioning system and ventilated front seats as standard to combat 45°C+ summer peaks. The 2026 cockpit is dominated by the widescreen MBUX interface, offering seamless smartphone integration and a Burmester surround sound system. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated climate zones and increased legroom compared to older G-Wagon generations, making it a viable long-distance family tourer.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes a comprehensive ADAS suite with Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and a 360° camera system essential for navigating tight parking in Downtown Dubai. The adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping support provide vital relief during long drives across the Saudi border or to the Northern Emirates. Its heavy-duty steel construction and multiple airbags ensure it remains one of the most physically robust vehicles on the road today.

The bottom line

For the UAE buyer who demands the iconic V8 roar and presence of a G-Wagon with the refinement of the latest 2026 tech, this Japanese-spec G63 is a high-value entry into the pinnacle of the SUV segment.
