Summary

This 2026 Nissan Patrol LE Platinum City represents a rare opportunity to own the flagship of the all-new Y63 generation. As the highest trim available, it balances serious off-road hardware with an executive interior that surpasses its predecessor in both technology and refinement. In the GCC, the Patrol remains the definitive choice for families who need a vehicle capable of crossing emirates in total comfort while retaining the ability to lead desert weekend expeditions. Grey is a sophisticated, high-resale color choice that handles the region's dust and heat with far more grace than darker shades. This specific listing is a standout for those wanting the new twin-turbo performance without the long waitlists of a brand-new showroom order.

This Car vs Other 2026 Patrols

With the 2026 model being part of the first Y63 release year, most examples on the market are low-mileage showroom imports. This vehicle's status as a GCC-spec LE Platinum City means it carries the full localized cooling and regional warranty support that parallel imports often lack. Grey is a neutral yet premium choice that holds value exceptionally well in the UAE and Saudi markets, second only to white.

LE PLATINUM CITY vs Lower Trims

The Platinum City trim is the only way to secure the 22-inch machine-cut alloys and the sophisticated Adaptive Air Suspension system. Inside, it adds significant luxury over the Titanium trim, including quilted premium leather with massaging front seats and the innovative Biometric Cooling system that uses infrared sensors to manage cabin temperature. You also get the 'Invisible Hood View' camera system, which is essential for both technical off-roading and tight city parking.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Patrol's new twin-turbo V6 produces 425 hp and 700 Nm of torque, outmuscling the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300's 409 hp and 650 Nm. It also offers a more digitized experience with dual 14.3-inch displays and a specialized Klipsch audio system that rivals the Mark Levinson units found in Lexus competitors. For GCC buyers, the Patrol's 98-litre fuel tank ensures superior range for long-distance hauls between major cities compared to smaller-tank rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

The transition to the twin-turbo V6 has improved efficiency over the old V8, though real-world GCC city driving will typically see 11–13 L/100km. Nissan's authorized service network is the most extensive in the region, with major centers in every emirate and across the Saudi borders. As a flagship GCC-spec model, it is expected to follow the Patrol's legendary 8–10% annual depreciation curve, which is among the lowest for any luxury vehicle in the Middle East.

Performance & Capability

The 700 Nm of torque is the star of the show, providing the low-end grunt needed to pull this 2.7-ton SUV through deep desert sand effortlessly. On the highway, the 9-speed automatic transmission delivers smooth, rapid overtaking power that feels significantly more modern than the outgoing Y62. The adaptive air suspension allows you to raise the vehicle for technical dunes or lower it for easier entry and improved high-speed stability on the E11.

Comfort & Cabin

This is a true 8-seater with a third row that is genuinely usable for adults on shorter trips, a rare feat in the premium SUV segment. The Biometric Cooling system is a game-changer for GCC summers, automatically detecting passenger body heat to adjust airflow. Triple-zone climate control, a built-in refrigerator in the center console, and acoustic glass ensure the cabin remains a quiet, cool sanctuary even when outside temperatures exceed 45°C.

Safety

The LE Platinum City features Nissan’s most advanced ADAS suite, including ProPILOT Assist with lane-keep functionality and adaptive cruise control, which are vital for reducing fatigue on long desert highways. Safety is bolstered by seven standard airbags, including a driver’s knee airbag, and the 3D Around View Monitor. The 'Invisible Hood View' is particularly useful in the GCC for spotting sharp rocks while off-roading or avoiding high curbs in urban parking lots.

The bottom line

This is the ultimate choice for a GCC family or executive who demands the latest Japanese engineering and maximum luxury. This GCC-spec flagship offers the perfect spec and color combination to ensure long-term value retention in the local market.
