Summary

The ROX 01 VIP enters the market as a formidable Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV), offering a sophisticated solution for the GCC’s long-distance driving requirements without the range anxiety of pure electrics. This specific 2026 model represents a near-delivery-mileage opportunity, effectively offering a brand-new vehicle experience in a highly desirable Grey finish that holds its aesthetic value well in the local market. As the top-tier VIP trim, it distinguishes itself with a luxurious six-seat configuration featuring second-row captain chairs, which is increasingly the preferred choice for executive families in the UAE. The combination of a 1.5L turbocharged range extender and dual electric motors produces a massive 476 hp, providing effortless power for both city merging and high-speed cruising between emirates. Given its recent entry into the market, this listing allows a buyer to jump the queue for one of the most tech-forward SUVs available today. For the GCC owner, the standout benefit is the massive total range, ensuring you can travel from Dubai to Riyadh with minimal stops while enjoying world-class cabin insulation and cooling performance.

This Car vs Other 2026 ROX 01s

With just 27 km on the odometer, this ROX 01 is essentially a zero-mile vehicle, placing it at the very top of the used market hierarchy for the 2026 model year. While most vehicles in this category would typically accumulate 20,000 km or more annually in the GCC, this example has been preserved in showroom condition, ensuring that the battery health and mechanical components are at 100% of their factory potential. The Grey exterior is a strategic choice for the region; it is far more practical for hiding the fine desert dust than darker shades while maintaining a premium, modern aesthetic that supports strong resale value. Compared to other listings that may have been used as demonstrators or high-mileage daily drivers, this car offers the full lifespan of its specialized REEV powertrain. It provides the rare chance to own a current-year flagship without the typical wait times associated with new imports. Buyers will find that the interior plastics and leathers still retain that factory-fresh scent and feel, which is a significant advantage over even slightly used alternatives.

VIP vs Lower Trims

Choosing the VIP trim is a definitive upgrade that transforms the ROX 01 from a standard family SUV into a legitimate luxury lounge on wheels. The most significant difference is the seating layout; while lower trims focus on maximum occupancy, the VIP trim utilizes a 2+2+2 configuration with ultra-premium captain chairs in the second row. these seats are equipped with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, providing a level of comfort essential for enduring the intense GCC summer heat during long road trips. The VIP trim also integrates an upgraded infotainment suite, including a high-definition ceiling-mounted screen for rear passengers, which is a critical feature for families traveling across the Emirates. Furthermore, the materials used in the VIP cabin are of a higher grade, featuring supple Nappa leather and enhanced soft-touch surfaces that are not found in the base models. The inclusion of a more advanced 360-degree camera system and transparent chassis technology in this trim makes navigating tight parking spots in Dubai Mall or Riyadh Front significantly safer and easier.

ROX 01 vs Segment Rivals

The ROX 01 VIP competes directly with high-end SUVs like the Li Auto L9 and the Voyah Free, yet it carves out its own niche with a more rugged, go-anywhere aesthetic and robust powertrain. Its REEV system is a major advantage over traditional luxury SUVs like the BMW X7 or Mercedes-Benz GLS, as it offers the instant torque and smoothness of an EV with a total range that exceeds 1,100 km, far outperforming the range of most internal combustion rivals on a single tank. In the context of GCC driving, the ROX 01 offers superior ground clearance compared to many urban-focused luxury crossovers, making it better suited for the occasional gravel track or weekend getaway to the Northern Emirates. The dual-motor All Wheel Drive system provides 476 hp, which is significantly more power than the base engines found in European competitors in this price bracket. Additionally, the ROX 01's integrated LiDAR and 4D radar systems provide a level of autonomous driving capability that many established legacy brands still offer only as expensive optional extras.

Running Costs & Resale

The REEV powertrain of the ROX 01 is designed for maximum efficiency, with a real-world fuel consumption that is remarkably low for a vehicle of this size, especially in stop-start city traffic in places like Abu Dhabi or Sharjah. By utilizing the 56 kWh battery for daily commutes, owners can effectively drive petrol-free for over 200 km, only engaging the 1.5L generator for longer highway journeys. Maintenance is simplified compared to traditional luxury vehicles, as the petrol engine operates at a steady, optimized RPM primarily to charge the battery, leading to less mechanical wear and tear. While the brand is a newer entrant to the GCC, the growing network of specialized service centers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia ensures that technical support is increasingly accessible. Depreciation for high-tech Chinese EVs in the GCC is stabilizing as the market gains confidence in their long-term reliability and battery longevity. This 2026 model, being the flagship VIP trim, is expected to hold its value better than base models due to the high demand for its unique six-seat executive configuration.

Performance & Capability

Performance is led by a staggering 476 hp and 740 Nm of torque, allowing this large SUV to sprint from 0-100 km/h in approximately 5.5 seconds, a feat that ensures confident overtaking on the E11 highway. The All Wheel Drive system is intelligently managed to provide maximum traction on diverse surfaces, whether it is a rain-slicked city street or a sandy coastal road. With multiple drive modes, including specific settings for sand and mud, the ROX 01 is more capable than the average luxury crossover, offering a sense of security for adventurous families. The air suspension system provides a cloud-like ride quality, soaking up road imperfections while also allowing the driver to raise the vehicle for increased ground clearance when needed. Despite its size, the electric steering is precise and light, making it surprisingly maneuverable in urban environments. The transition between pure electric driving and the range-extender mode is virtually seamless, ensuring that the cabin remains quiet and vibration-free even when the petrol engine is active.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior of the ROX 01 VIP is a sanctuary designed to combat the harsh outdoor environment of the Middle East. The climate control system is exceptionally powerful, featuring independent zones for all three rows and specialized filters to keep the cabin air fresh and free of dust and allergens. The VIP-exclusive captain chairs are the highlight of the cabin, offering a 'zero-gravity' recline mode that is perfect for passengers to relax during long drives between cities. Sound insulation is world-class, utilizing acoustic glass and extensive dampening materials to keep the roar of highway traffic at bay. For the driver, a massive 15.7-inch central touchscreen provides intuitive access to all vehicle functions, while the premium audio system delivers a studio-quality listening experience. The cabin also features multiple USB-C charging ports and wireless charging pads, ensuring that every passenger's devices remain powered throughout the journey. Even with all six seats in use, the clever packaging of the REEV components allows for a usable amount of cargo space for groceries or weekend bags.

Safety

Safety in the ROX 01 VIP is managed by one of the most comprehensive sensor suites on the market today, including triple LiDAR sensors that provide a 360-degree field of vision even in low-visibility conditions like sandstorms. The Most Advanced ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) comes standard, offering features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and automatic emergency braking that are tuned for the high speeds of GCC motorways. For the busy city driver, the rear cross-traffic alert and blind-spot monitoring provide vital layers of protection in dense traffic. The vehicle is built on a high-strength steel and aluminum hybrid chassis designed to exceed international crash safety standards, providing peace of mind for family transport. Additionally, the battery pack is encased in a multi-layer protective shell with an advanced thermal management system to ensure stability and safety even when ambient temperatures reach the mid-40s. A high-resolution digital rearview mirror ensures that even with a full load of passengers, the driver always has a clear view of the road behind.

The bottom line

This 2026 ROX 01 VIP is the perfect choice for the tech-savvy family or executive looking for a zero-compromise SUV that bridges the gap between traditional power and the electric future. With delivery mileage and the highest possible specification, it offers a significant value advantage for anyone wanting a flagship luxury experience with the best range-extended technology currently available in the GCC.
