Summary

This 2026 Land Cruiser GXR represents the refined mid-point of the LC300 lineup, offering the potent twin-turbo petrol engine that has become the benchmark for regional highway performance. Dressed in black, a high-demand resale color in the UAE, this SUV balances executive presence with the rugged hardware necessary for deep desert excursions. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it features the cooling capacity and sand-optimized electronics essential for the local climate. The 3.3-litre powertrain provides effortless overtaking on long commutes between emirates while maintaining the legendary durability for which the nameplate is known. For the serious buyer, this listing offers a near-new platform with the specific trim features that retain value best in the secondary market.

This Car vs Other 2026 Land Cruisers

As a 2026 model, this vehicle is part of the latest evolution of the LC300 series, benefiting from matured software for the 10-speed transmission and infotainment. Given the typical GCC annual mileage of 25,000 km, a zero-to-low mileage 2026 model provides a significant advantage in long-term mechanical lifespan. The black exterior is among the top three most liquid colors for resale in the Dubai and Riyadh markets.

GXR vs Lower Trims

The GXR trim is the preferred step up from the EXR, adding essential comfort features that GCC buyers prioritize, such as larger alloy wheels and enhanced interior upholstery. It typically includes the wireless charger and powered tailgate which are often absent on base specifications. Most importantly for our climate, the GXR often introduces ventilated front seats and improved cabin materials that elevate the daily driving experience beyond the utility-focused entry models.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

The Land Cruiser LC300 leads rivals like the Nissan Patrol and Chevrolet Tahoe in technical off-road geometry and historical resale price stability. Its 110-litre fuel tank provides a superior cruising range for cross-border trips compared to many American monocoque competitors. The body-on-frame construction ensures a level of structural integrity in extreme heat and rough terrain that road-biased crossovers cannot match.

Running Costs & Resale

With a combined fuel consumption of approximately 12.1 L/100km, the twin-turbo petrol V6 is designed for efficiency at cruising speeds on UAE highways. The Land Cruiser maintains one of the lowest depreciation rates in the region, typically losing only 8-10% annually compared to 15% or more for European luxury SUVs. Owners benefit from the most extensive authorized service network across all seven emirates and the wider GCC, ensuring parts availability even in remote areas.

Performance & Capability

The 409 hp twin-turbo engine delivers a massive 650 Nm of torque, allowing this 7-seater to handle steep dunes and heavy towing with ease. It features a 235 mm ground clearance and a 700 mm wading depth, making it ready for both desert weekends and seasonal rains. The standard Multi-Terrain Select system allows the driver to toggle between Sand, Mud, and Rock modes, optimizing the All-Wheel Drive system for specific GCC terrains.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat cabin is designed for large families, featuring a powerful multi-zone climate control system specifically engineered to cool the interior quickly after being parked in 45°C heat. Acoustic glass and improved insulation provide a quiet sanctuary from wind noise during high-speed highway travel. The third row folds flat to reveal significant cargo space, while the cooled center console box keeps beverages chilled during long desert drives.

Safety

This trim comes equipped with Toyota's comprehensive safety suite, including Pre-Collision System, Lane Tracing Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control, which is indispensable for the long stretches of the E11 highway. It features a robust array of airbags and stability control systems specifically tuned for high-riding SUVs to prevent rollovers on uneven sand or gravel. Blind-spot monitoring and a 360-degree camera system assist in navigating tight urban parking and multi-lane city traffic.

The bottom line

Perfect for the GCC professional who needs a prestigious daily driver that can transition seamlessly into a weekend desert explorer without sacrificing resale value.
