Summary

This 2026 Toyota Prado VXR is a prime example of the all-new 250-Series, which has completely redefined the model's presence in the GCC with its rugged retro-modern styling. As a zero-kilometer vehicle in the top-tier VXR trim, it offers the highest resale security in the market, especially finished in high-demand white which handles the regional heat and future depreciation better than any other shade. The new 2.4-liter turbocharged powertrain provides significantly more torque than the old V6, making it far more responsive during highway overtakes on the E11. With its full-time four-wheel-drive system and flagship luxury features, this listing represents a ready-to-drive opportunity for those who want Land Cruiser 300 levels of tech in a more agile, city-friendly footprint.

This Car vs Other 2026 Prados

While typical GCC annual use for a family SUV ranges between 20,000 and 25,000 km, this vehicle remains in brand-new condition with delivery mileage only. The white exterior is the most strategically sound choice for the UAE, offering the best thermal rejection during summer months and consistently commanding the highest price floor in the secondary market.

VXR vs Lower Trims

The VXR is the flagship grade, adding essential GCC luxuries that lower trims like the GXR lack, most notably the 14-speaker premium JBL audio system and a 12.3-inch digital cockpit. It also features the Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) for superior highway comfort and a Head-Up Display, alongside ventilated seating for both the front and second rows to combat peak summer temperatures.

Prado vs Segment Rivals

The Prado leads rivals like the Ford Everest and Mitsubishi Montero Sport with its massive 110-litre fuel tank, providing superior range for long-distance cross-border drives to Oman or Saudi Arabia. Its body-on-frame construction offers a level of durability in soft-sand desert conditions that unibody competitors cannot match, backed by the most extensive service network in the region.

Running Costs & Resale

Expect real-world fuel economy of approximately 10.6 km/L, which remains consistent even in heavy stop-start city traffic thanks to the efficient 8-speed transmission. Toyota's legendary status in the GCC ensures this Prado will likely retain up to 85-90% of its value after the first year, significantly outperforming European luxury alternatives. Authorized service centers are available in every major city across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring low-cost maintenance and immediate parts availability.

Performance & Capability

The new 2.4L turbocharged engine delivers a robust 430 Nm of torque, providing plenty of low-end grunt for cresting dunes or merging onto fast-moving highways. With 221 mm of ground clearance and a dedicated low-range transfer case, it is a genuine off-road tool capable of handling rocky wadis and soft sand with ease. Multiple terrain modes, including a Crawl Control system, allow even novice drivers to navigate challenging terrain confidently.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat cabin is designed for the Gulf climate, featuring a powerful tri-zone climate control system and a refrigerated center console cool box for beverages. The VXR trim upgrades the experience with premium leather upholstery and acoustic glass that significantly reduces wind noise during high-speed highway cruising. The third row is power-folding, allowing you to switch from a full family hauler to a large cargo space at the touch of a button.

Safety

This VXR trim comes standard with the full Toyota Safety Sense suite, including Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Trace Assist, which are invaluable for reducing fatigue on long desert stretches. The 360-degree camera system and blind-spot monitoring provide essential visibility on multi-lane urban highways, while a comprehensive 8-airbag system and a sturdy ladder-frame chassis provide top-tier passive protection for all seven occupants.

The bottom line

This is the ideal choice for a buyer who wants the most prestigious version of the region's favorite SUV without the waitlist, offering a perfect balance of flagship luxury and legendary desert reliability.
