Summary

This 2026 Toyota Supra GR represents a rare opportunity to own the final iteration of the legendary MkV generation. Despite being less than a year old, it has already covered 29,314 km, suggesting it was likely used for long-distance highway commutes between emirates, where the Supra’s grand touring comfort truly shines. The Grey exterior is a neutral, highly desirable choice in the GCC market, ensuring strong resale liquidity compared to louder performance colors. As a GCC-spec model, it is fully optimized for the region’s extreme heat, featuring cooling systems and cabin materials designed to withstand 50°C summers. For a buyer looking for a track-capable daily driver that holds its value better than almost any European rival, this is the benchmark choice.

This Car vs Other 2026 Supras

With 29,314 km on the odometer at zero years of age, this Supra has been driven more than the typical 20,000 km annual GCC average. While the mileage is higher than a showroom-fresh example, it indicates the vehicle has likely been used for high-speed highway cruising, which is often easier on the engine and transmission than stop-start city traffic. The Grey finish is a major plus for local buyers, as it ranks alongside white and black for the highest resale retention in the UAE market.

GR vs Lower Trims

The GR 3.0 trim is the heart of the Supra lineup, providing the essential 6-cylinder experience that GCC enthusiasts demand. Compared to the 2.0-liter entry models, this trim adds the Adaptive Variable Sport suspension and an active rear differential, hardware that is crucial for maintaining stability on high-speed desert highways. Inside, you benefit from upgraded Brembo brakes and larger 19-inch forged wheels that provide superior heat dissipation during summer driving.

Supra vs Segment Rivals

The Supra is frequently cross-shopped with the BMW Z4 and Porsche 718 Cayman. In the GCC, the Supra leads with a far more extensive authorized service network, ensuring easier maintenance in cities like Riyadh or Muscat where European specialist support can be thinner. It also offers a more robust air conditioning system than its German counterparts, a critical factor for year-round usability in the Gulf.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.0L automatic typically averages around 9.1 L/100km on a combined cycle, though GCC highway cruising can see efficiency improve to roughly 7.7 L/100km. Toyota’s authorized service network is the strongest in the region, with centers readily available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. While luxury sports cars typically depreciate by 15-20% in their first year, the Supra benefits from Toyota’s reputation for reliability, often retaining up to 75% of its value after three years in the local market.

Performance & Capability

The 3.0-liter twin-scroll turbo produces a verified 382 horsepower, allowing this coupe to reach 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. On the well-maintained highways of the UAE, the rear-wheel-drive chassis and near-perfect weight distribution provide exceptional high-speed stability. With dedicated Sport and Normal modes, the car can transition from a comfortable commuter to a sharp performance tool for track days at the Dubai Autodrome or Yas Marina Circuit.

Comfort & Cabin

The two-seat cockpit is designed for driver focus, featuring 14-way power-adjustable sport seats with memory functions. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard and specifically tuned to handle the intense humidity and heat of the Gulf coast. For long-distance drives between emirates, the 10-speaker HiFi audio system and acoustic glass provide a refined environment that belies the car’s aggressive exterior.

Safety

This Supra comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite essential for fast-moving GCC traffic, including Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and Lane Departure Warning with Steering Assist. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alerts are standard on this trim, providing critical assistance when merging onto multi-lane highways. The car also features eight airbags and a reinforced chassis for maximum passenger protection.

The bottom line

This is the ideal choice for an enthusiast who wants a modern legend with GCC-spec peace of mind and the highest resale security in the sports car segment.
