Summary

This 2027 Cullinan Series II Black Badge represents the absolute peak of the ultra-luxury SUV segment, featuring the refined aesthetic updates of the newest generation. With its darkened exterior chrome and the iconic illuminated Pantheon grille, it offers a more assertive presence than the standard model. As a brand-new vehicle, it offers the perfect entry point for a buyer who wants the latest Goodwood technology without the multi-month wait for a bespoke commission. The Grey exterior is a high-demand, high-resale choice in the UAE, providing excellent heat management and long-term value retention. This is an uncompromising grand tourer, purpose-built for the unique demands of executive commuting across the Emirates.

This Car vs Other 2027 Cullinans

As a brand-new Series II model, this car features the updated 'L-shaped' LED daytime running lights and the full-width glass dashboard fascia that older models lack. In the GCC market, where newer styling is a major driver of value, this latest generation ensures the highest possible profile and modern tech integration. The zero-km status means you benefit from the full factory warranty and service inclusive package from day one.

BLACK BADGE vs Lower Trims

The Black Badge trim is the 'alter ego' of the standard Cullinan, delivering an increased output of 592 hp compared to the standard 563 hp. It adds high-intent features like the technical carbon fiber interior trim and darkened Spirit of Ecstasy, which are highly prized by younger buyers in the Dubai and Riyadh markets. Beyond aesthetics, it features a more dynamic suspension tune and a sharper throttle map for a more engaging drive.

Cullinan vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Bentley Bentayga EWB or Lamborghini Urus focus on rear-seat length or track times, the Cullinan leads with its 'Magic Carpet Ride' air suspension that utilizes road-scanning cameras. Its 100-litre fuel tank provides a significant advantage for long-distance cruising between Abu Dhabi and Muscat. The coach-style rear doors offer a level of ingress and egress prestige that no other SUV in the segment can match.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 16.3 L/100km, which is expected for a V12 of this displacement in GCC stop-start traffic. Rolls-Royce service centers are well-established in major hubs like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh, with standard service intervals occurring annually or every 15,000 km. The Black Badge trim historically retains 3–5% more of its value than standard trims in the UAE market due to its high desirability among enthusiasts.

Performance & Capability

The 6.75L twin-turbo V12 delivers 900 Nm of torque, allowing this three-ton SUV to reach 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds with effortless poise. The all-wheel-drive system and advanced air suspension are engineered to handle varying terrain, making it highly capable for weekend trips to desert resorts. On the highway, the V12 provides silent, immediate overtaking power, ensuring a relaxed experience even at maximum cruising speeds.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of handcrafted leather and acoustic glass, designed to remain perfectly silent even in the peak of a GCC summer. This five-seat configuration includes ventilated and massaging seats, essential for maintaining comfort during long drives through high temperatures. The new Series II Spirit infotainment system and the Starlight Headliner create an immersive, high-tech luxury environment for all passengers.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive ADAS suite including Night Vision with pedestrian recognition, which is particularly useful for low-light highway driving. Standard features include a 360-degree camera system, adaptive cruise control, and cross-traffic alert to navigate busy urban environments safely. The high-strength aluminum spaceframe provides a robust safety cell, complemented by a full array of intelligent airbags throughout the cabin.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer who demands the very latest expression of Rolls-Royce luxury, this 2027 Black Badge Series II offers an immediate, high-specification opportunity to own the segment leader.
