Exeed ET 2026

​The Exeed Sterra ET, also marketed as the Exeed Exlantix ET in regions outside China, is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV introduced by Exeed, a premium sub-brand of Chery Automobile. Unveiled at Auto Shanghai in April 2023, the Sterra ET commenced production in January 2024 and became available in the Chinese market by May 2024. ​

Design and Dimensions

The Sterra ET features a sleek, aerodynamic design with a grille-less front fascia, LED light bars, and a split-headlight configuration. Its dimensions are 4,955 mm in length, 1,975 mm in width, and 1,698 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. The vehicle incorporates frameless doors, pop-out handles, and a panoramic sunroof measuring 2.38 square meters, enhancing its modern and spacious appeal. ​

Powertrain Options

The Sterra ET is available in both Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) configurations:​

• BEV Variants: Equipped with CATL-supplied lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs of 77 kWh or 100 kWh, offering CLTC ranges between 540 km and 760 km. These variants support an 800V high-voltage architecture, enabling rapid charging capabilities. ​

• EREV Variants: Combining a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor, these models feature a 32 kWh battery pack, providing a pure electric range of up to 200 km and a total range exceeding 1,500 km under the CLTC standard. ​

Performance

Performance varies across different configurations:​

• Single-Motor BEV: Rear-wheel drive with approximately 230 kW (313 hp), achieving 0–100 km/h in about 6.6 seconds.​

• Dual-Motor BEV: All-wheel drive with a combined output of around 353 kW (480 hp), accelerating from 0–100 km/h in approximately 4.7 seconds.​

• EREV Models: The all-wheel-drive version combines the gasoline engine with two electric motors, delivering a total system output of about 345 kW (469 hp) and achieving 0–100 km/h in roughly 4.8 seconds. ​

Interior and Technology

The Sterra ET's interior emphasizes a minimalist design with advanced technology:​

• Displays: A 10.25-inch floating LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch 2.5K central control touchscreen provide intuitive access to vehicle functions.​

• Driver Assistance: Equipped with the Falcon Smart Driving system, utilizing 30 sensors, including Bosch-supplied LiDAR, and dual Nvidia Drive Orin chips with a combined computing power of 508 TOPS, offering Level 2 autonomous driving capabilities on highways. ​

• Comfort Features: Options include a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and premium seating materials, enhancing the luxury experience.​

Chassis and Suspension

The Sterra ET employs a double wishbone independent front suspension and a multi-link independent rear suspension. It features an air suspension system with continuous damping control, capable of adjusting ride height by up to 100 mm, optimizing comfort and handling across various driving conditions.
