All-new 2021 Nissan X-Trail debuts, will arrive later this year

Also known as the Rouge in the US, Nissan has revealed what GCC customers can expect from the all-new 2021 Nissan X-Trail.

Borrowing styling cues from the new Patrol, the X-Trail receives slimmer LED headlights that sit either side of the bold V-Motion grille. Larger LED headlights sit below and are standard on SL and Platinum trims.

Around the back, the rear receives a striking makeover also inspired by larger SUV’s in the Nissan fleet and has cleaner lines compared to the previous generation.

For 2021, the dimensions are smaller compared to the current version but not by a significant amount.

Inside, the updated X-Trail gets a full-colour 10.8-inch heads-up display, 12.3-inch digital dashboard and a 9.0-inch touchscreen display. According to Nissan, they’ve added all this to reduce driver stress and help them focus on the road.

Of course, we can’t say these will be on base models.

Front-wheel-drive models come with three drive modes to choose from; Sport, Eco and Standard. All-wheel-drive models get five drive modes with the inclusion of off-road and snow. The module to change the drive modes is nestled in the centre console.

The 2.5-litre straight four remains but with a few upgrades to increase the horsepower to 181. Torque also sees a small boost and now sits at 245 Nm.

The 2021 Nissan X-Trail is expected to arrive in the UAE towards the end of 2020.

Dubicars has new Nissan and used Nissan for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman.
