When it comes to luxury and opulence, no car manufacturer does it better than Rolls-Royce. The British marque makes some of the most desirable cars with lavish interiors. Owning a Rolls-Royce is in itself an exclusive privilege. However, the crème de la crème of the world’s elite need more exclusion and that is exactly where cars like this Rolls-Royce Ghost Andalusia Edition come into the picture.

If a standard-issue Rolls-Royce just isn’t your cup of tea, this luxury barge might just be what you need. Firstly, with only five units ever manufactured, it is super exclusive and that gives you bragging rights. Secondly, it is just so classy and well-specced. Finally, it gives you the luxury of being set apart in UAE’s ever-growing luxury car market, because this is a design concept that took birth in Abu Dhabi. Read on to know more about this Rolls-Royce Ghost Andalusia.

History & Origins

As you might have already guessed, the Andalusia Edition is a homage to the region of Andalusia in Spain. The region is of great cultural importance and the word Andalusia itself is derived from the Arabic word — Al Andalus (الأندلس). This Rolls-Royce takes inspiration from the region.

Elegant Design & Styling

First launched in 2009, the Rolls-Royce Ghost is a full-size luxury sedan and it is also one of the most elegant cars in the world. It carries classy, graceful, and dignified design & styling. When designing the Andalusia edition, Rolls-Royce didn’t really make any changes to the basic design. The same imposing grille is present up front and it is flanked by the instantly-recognisable headlamps.

The Andalusia Edition was designed and commissioned by Rolls-Royce Abu Dhabi exclusively for buyers in the Middle East. The devil really is in the detail with the Andalusia edition. There are twin hand-painted pinstripes on each side of the car that runs along the entire length of the sedan.

There are two breaks in the pinstripes, one is where there’s the unique Andalusia insignia, and then towards the rear is the word ‘الأندلس’ which is Andalus in Arabic. All five of the Andalusia Edition cars feature a dual-tone paint finish, however, each of them is finished in different colours. This particular car is finished in Light Blue & White, and there’s no other car like it, effectively making it a 1 of 1 exclusive car.

Quiet, Yet Fast

The Andalusia Edition doesn’t feature any changes to the engine and powertrain. It is powered by a massive 6.6-litre V12 engine with a maximum power output of 563hp at 5,250rpm and a peak torque output of 575Nm at 1,500rpm. The rear wheels are driven via an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Despite it having such a massive engine, the Rolls-Royce Ghost Andalusia Edition offers a quiet, refined, and powerful drive experience. Accelerating from 0-100km/h takes under 5 seconds and it will go on to touch an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h. However, a Rolls-Royce isn’t at all about hardcore performance figures. It is all about the interior experience.

Plush & Opulent Interior

Inside the Rolls-Royce Ghost Andalusia Edition, there is no dearth of comfort and luxury. There is an abundance of exotic materials. The seats are finished in leather, and the upholstery is finished in a Blue & White theme. However, the Blue shade used here is dark and that gives it a nice contrast to the light metallic Blue on the outside.

There are special insignias elaborately stitched into the leather upholstery on the door and seats. The wood finish on the doors, dashboard, and centre console further adds to the feeling of opulence.

With all of this on offer, this Rolls-Royce Andalusia Edition at Al Ain Class Motors is surely one you wouldn’t want to miss if you want a super exclusive luxury sedan.
