Ferrari Achieves Record Sales Numbers In 2022: Europe, Middle East & Africa Markets Buy The Most Number Of Ferrari Supercars

Ferrari has revealed its 2022 sales figures and the numbers show that the Italian marque finished 2022 on a high note. Ferrari achieved a new sales record in 2022 with 13,221 vehicles delivered to buyers and clients in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, unsurprisingly forming a major chunk of buyers.

Ferrari is one of the most well-known car manufacturers in the world. It is known in all corners of the world for producing some of the most seductive, best-sounding, and super-fast cars. However, Ferrari has traditionally always had slow sales, and the sales numbers only got better in the last few years.

The sales charts are on an upward spiral and it doesn’t seem like it would slow down anytime soon. 2022 was the best year for Ferrari sales so far. 5,958 Ferrari supercars, hypercars, and sports cars were sold in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) markets. This is unsurprising given that Ferrari is seen as a Halo brand in some of these regions and this factor especially applies to the Middle East.

The UAE is home to some of the rarest and most expensive cars ever produced by Ferrari and those who own them simply cannot resist adding another one to their collection. Hence, sales in the Middle East are expected to increase year-on-year. Clients in the Americas bought 3,447 units, while buyers in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan bought 1,552 cars and the remainder of the APAC market bought the other 2,264 units.

With these figures, Ferrari has achieved a year-on-year sales growth of 19 percent, and total revenue of $5.095 billion. Ferrari expects further growth in 2023 with a projected total revenue of $5.7 billion.

Augmenting further growth is the arrival of new Ferrari cars, including its latest and most awaited product — the Purosangue. This is the product that high hopes are placed on, as it is Ferrari’s first Sports SUV Crossover and will take the competition straight to rivals like the Lamborghini Urus, Aston Martin DBX, Audi RSQ8, etc.

The Ferrari Purosangue will surely woo buyers in the UAE as well and we might see lots of it on the nation’s roads in a short span of time. Ferrari is an aspirational brand that leaves many aspiring to own one of the Italian supercars, however, not everyone might be able to afford a brand-new Ferrari. For such buyers, here is a list of used Ferrari cars for sale in the UAE.
