Ferrari Racing Days is back in the UAE with an adrenaline-filled Ferrari track experience set to take place in Dubai and Abu Dhabi over the coming weekend and the next weekend respectively.
Ferrari Racing Days is a program that encompasses a weekend full of client-racing activities like F1 Clienti, XX Program, Club Competizioni GT, Club Challenge and Passione Ferrari, as well as one-make racing events like the Ferrari Challenge.
To those who have heard of these names for the first time, it may seem a little too complicated. However, they are really simple racing formats with not-so-simple cars being raced. The Ferrari Challenge is a one-make championship in which drivers and teams race their Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo cars. The Ferrari Racing Days in Dubai will be the penultimate round of the Ferrari Challenge 2022 and the one in Abu Dhabi will be the season finale.
F1 Clienti and XX Program offer brilliant sights and sounds to spectators and participants alike. These two events will see Ferrari racecars from the past being run on the track. This includes Formula 1 cars like the F300, F2001, F2007, F60, F138, etc. There is yet another program called the Club Competizioni GT that brings a few gorgeous and fast Ferrari GT racecars from the past back onto the track.
In Dubai, Ferrari Racing Days was set to begin on Friday, 27 January. However, it has now been postponed by a day courtesy of the incessant rain. Private Practice Sessions and Free Practice sessions will now take place on Saturday, 28 January. Qualifying 1 and Race 1 of the Ferrari Challenge will take place on Sunday, 29 January alongside more Private Practice Sessions. Qualifying 2 and Race 2 will take place on Monday, 30 January.
The Dubai Autodrome will host the Ferrari Racing Days between 27 & 29 January 2023, and entry to the track for spectators is free of cost. Spectators will be able to watch all the action from the grandstand. The Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi will host the same between 03 & 05 February 2023.
