Message Format & Steps

Follow these steps to pay via SMS:

• Open Your SMS App & Start a new message on your mobile phone.
• Enter the Sender Number and Type 3009 in the sender’s field.
• Use the new SMS format: City and Plate Code <space> Plate Number <space> Parking Type <space> Duration

Example For SMS Parking

For example, an Abu Dhabi vehicle message might look like: AUH8 3214 S 1

• City and Plate Code: “AUH” for Abu Dhabi.
• Parking Type: “S” for Standard Parking or “P” for Premium Parking.
• Duration: The number of hours you wish to park.

Parking Charges

• Standard Parking: AED 2 per hour
• Premium Parking: AED 3 per hour

Always pay on time to avoid fines or the accumulation of black points. If you have black points, check your status and drive more carefully.

How To Extend Your Parking Time

After you send your SMS, you will receive a confirmation text. Ten minutes before your parking expires, you will get a reminder. To extend your parking time, simply send an “E” to 3009.

The system now supports vehicles registered outside Abu Dhabi. Use the correct city code when sending your SMS. Here are the codes:
