With bold and unmistakable characteristics, the Maxus T60 has arrived in the UAE. Unveiled as part of Maxus’s ever-expanding lineup, the pickup is equipped with parking sensors and keyless entry as standard.
Available with either 2WD or 4WD, the Maxus T60 has been awarded a 5-star ANCAP safety rating after successfully completing various long and painstaking tests within the Emirates.
With its bold front grille and muscular bulges, the pickup enters a hard-fought segment within the country as rivals include the mighty Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger, Nissan Navara and Mitsubishi L200.
Moving to the interior, the Maxus T60 is fitted with plenty of options as standard, including front and rear A/C vents, push start engine button, AM/FM radio with AUX and USB inputs and tyre pressure monitoring system.
What does the Maxus T60 offer regarding power
UAE customers can choose between two power plants. A 2.4-litre petrol engine rated at 136 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque via a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 2.8-litre turbodiesel engine with 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque connected to a 6-speed manual driving each corner.
Eventually, Maxus will add an automatic transmission to the options list along with select safety features including fatigue warning, 360-degree camera, and lane departure warning.
UAE pricing for the Maxus T60 has yet to be revealed.
