New 2025 RAM 1500 Launched in UAE — Goodbye, V8!

RAM Trucks Middle East, and Al Futtaim Trading Enterprises have officially launched the much-awaited new 2025 RAM 1500 pickup truck in the UAE. At the regional launch event of the new pickup truck in Saudi Arabia, prices in the UAE for the new RAM 1500 were revealed. The latest full-size pickup is available in six distinct trims, each catering to a different segment of truck buyers. 

With a new powertrain and refreshed design, the 2025 RAM 1500 is set to make waves in the UAE market. For the first time in the RAM 1500’s history spanning five generations since 1981, the 1500 lineup is available without a V8 engine. The new RAM 1500 RHO now replaces the monstrous RAM TRX, making it the new flagship performance truck. Additionally, RAM has introduced the luxurious Tungsten trim, which offers premium features for those who prioritize comfort over off-road capability.

Here is a breakdown of the trim-wise pricing and associated engine option for the new 2025 RAM 1500 in the UAE:

2025 RAM 1500: What’s New?

For 2025, RAM has given its full-size pickup a comprehensive facelift and several upgrades. The most significant change is the departure of the HEMI V8, replaced by a new twin-turbocharged inline-6 engine. 

Exterior updates include refreshed lighting elements, new wheel designs, and a refreshed colour palette. The truck’s interior now boasts a larger infotainment system, upgraded technology, and luxury-oriented features, especially in higher trims like the Tungsten.

2025 RAM 1500 Design & Styling

The new RAM 1500 receives a subtle but effective design refresh, keeping it one of the most stylish trucks on the road. Key updates include:

• Redesigned LED headlights and taillights
• New wheel options across all trims
• Updated grille designs to differentiate between trims
• Revised front and rear bumpers
• A new set of premium colour options

Despite these changes, RAM has maintained the truck’s aggressive stance and muscular proportions, ensuring it remains one of the most imposing full-size pickups in the market.

2025 RAM 1500 Interior

Inside, the 2025 RAM 1500 continues to offer best-in-class materials and features, rivaling even some luxury SUVs.

• Infotainment & Tech: The old 8.4-inch touchscreen is now replaced by a portrait 12.0-inch display on lower trims and a 14.5-inch display for top trims. A new 10.3-inch passenger-side screen is also available as an option.
• Premium Features: Higher trims, especially the Tungsten, get quilted leather upholstery, massaging seats, and a high-end 23-speaker Klipsch audio system.
• Storage & Comfort: The RAM 1500’s cabin is known for its abundant storage options, including under-seat compartments, large center consoles, and a split-folding tailgate for increased practicality.
• The Luxurious Tungsten Trim: The range-topping Tungsten variant comes with 24-way adjustable front seats, genuine wood trim, and a panoramic sunroof, making it the most luxurious pickup RAM has ever produced.

2025 RAM 1500: Engine Options

It is in terms of the engine options that the new RAM 1500 has major differences compared to the outgoing model. The RAM TRX and its 702hp 6.2-litre supercharged V8 are both now discontinued. This marks a major shift, as Dodge & RAM trucks have historically relied on V8 powertrains since 1948! 

The move aligns with the industry’s shift toward smaller, more efficient turbocharged engines while still delivering strong performance figures. The 2025 RAM 1500 is powered by Chrysler’s new 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-6 Hurricane engine, that also powers the new Dodge Charger. The straight-6 is available in two configurations: 

• Standard Output: 420hp and 635Nm
• High Output: 540hp and 706Nm

RAM also retails a plug-in hybrid version of the pickup truck – called the Ramcharger – in some markets. However, there’s no word of its launch in the UAE. However, the new RAM 1500 REV, which is the EV version of the pickup truck, is expected to be launched later this year and is on our list of the top 10 electric vehicles launching in 2025.

2025 RAM 1500 Competitors

The RAM 1500 faces stiff competition in the full-size pickup truck segment. Its primary rivals include the Ford F-150 and its high performance version — the F-150 Raptor, in addition to the GMC Sierra and the Chevrolet Silverado. 

While each of these trucks has its own strengths, the RAM 1500 aims to set itself apart with its premium interior, advanced technology, and new powertrain options. However, its new top-spec RHO version is a lot less powerful than the Ford F-150 Raptor R and its 720hp 5.2-litre supercharged V8. 

New 2025 RAM 1500 Bookings & Warranty

Bookings for the new RAM 1500 are now open in the UAE through the RAM & Al Futtaim Trading Enterprises showrooms. However, delivery timelines are yet to be confirmed. The standard 5-year/100,000km warranty ensures peace of mind. In addition, RAM also offers service packages to make maintaining the car easy.

With competitive pricing, a solid warranty, and a variety of trims, the 2025 RAM 1500 is set to continue RAM’s legacy as a top-tier full-size pickup truck choice in the region.
