The Ferrari 360 Modena, produced from 1999 to 2005, is widely celebrated for its exceptional design, performance, and driving experience. Also being the 1st Ferrari to be constructed with a unibody made entirely of aluminum.
One of the standout features of the 360 Modena is its handling. The car's aluminum space frame construction results in a lightweight yet rigid chassis, enhancing its agility and responsiveness. The suspension setup, featuring double wishbones at both the front and rear, provides excellent balance and control. The car feels planted and stable, whether on winding roads or the racetrack.
When you start the engine that Italian V8 bursts to life with a throaty bark, these smaller V8s don’t rumble like the larger ones, their character is very different both aurally and dynamically but this 3.6L V8 engine feels like a precision tool. There is a refinement, a delicacy to the way it responds and that makes it unique.
It makes its power high up in the rev range, so you really need to wind it out, but when you do, the speed piles on rapidly. Being thrown back in your seat as the revs climb, with the engine screaming is a unique experience. The 360 just feels like was built for speed, and it does that job quite well.
This example is Rosso Corsa (Racing Red) and tan interior is for sure a stunning combination and a future classic if it not already achieved that status.
