Summary

This GCC-spec Lexus GS300 is a standout choice for buyers seeking Japanese reliability paired with executive-level comfort. With a white exterior—the most practical and high-resale color for the region—and a verified history in the UAE, it manages heat and long-distance commutes better than many European rivals. The naturally aspirated V6 provides smooth, linear power that is perfect for highway overtaking between emirates. While the mileage reflects consistent use, these powertrains are legendary in the GCC for reaching high figures without major mechanical fatigue. It represents a balanced opportunity for a daily driver that holds its prestige and resale value exceptionally well.

This Car vs Other 2007 GS300s

At approximately 175,000 km, this GS300 sits well below the typical GCC average for a vehicle of this age, which often exceeds 350,000 km. The white finish is a strategic advantage for local buyers, offering the highest heat deflection and strongest resale demand in the UAE market. Its GCC specification ensures the cooling system and air conditioning are factory-tuned for extreme summer temperatures.

NAVIGATION vs Lower Trims

The Navigation trim elevates the GS300 experience with a high-resolution central display and a premium Mark Levinson-style surround sound environment. It adds essential GCC conveniences like a rear-view camera and Bluetooth connectivity, which were often absent on base models of this era. This trim also features upgraded leather upholstery and genuine wood accents that provide a significantly more upscale cabin feel.

GS300 vs Segment Rivals

The GS300 leads the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class in long-term reliability and lower maintenance overheads across the GCC. While German rivals focus on high-strung performance, the Lexus offers a 71-litre fuel tank and a naturally aspirated V6 that is far less sensitive to varying fuel grades. The cooling performance in stop-start Dubai traffic is widely considered superior to its European counterparts.

Running Costs & Resale

Lexus enjoys some of the slowest depreciation rates in the UAE, typically losing only 8-10% annually compared to 15% for rivals. Real-world fuel consumption averages around 9.8L/100km, which is efficient for a V6 executive sedan on long highway runs. Service intervals are every 10,000 km, supported by the most extensive authorized service network in the region, ensuring parts are always readily available and affordable.

Performance & Capability

The 228 hp 3.0L engine delivers a refined 0–100 km/h time of 7.2 seconds, providing plenty of confidence for merging onto fast-moving highways like E11. Its rear-wheel-drive layout and 6-speed automatic transmission are tuned for smooth gear shifts rather than aggressive surges, emphasizing passenger comfort. The chassis remains composed at its 238 km/h top speed, making it an excellent cross-border cruiser.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the GS300 is a sanctuary from the GCC summer, featuring highly effective dual-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents. The 5-seat layout provides generous legroom for executive commuting, and the cabin insulation is specifically designed to minimize road noise at highway speeds. Memory seats and power-adjustable steering ensure a tailored driving position for long trips across the Emirates.

Safety

This trim is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control, which are vital for maintaining grip on sandy or rain-slicked roads. It features a class-leading airbag system for its time, including front, side, curtain, and knee airbags for both driver and passenger. The ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution provides consistent stopping power during high-speed highway incidents.

The bottom line

For the professional buyer who values bulletproof reliability over German complexity, this low-depreciation GS300 in the region's preferred color is a secure and comfortable investment.
