Summary

This 2007 Lexus IS250 Premier represents a high-spec entry into the luxury sedan segment, featuring a smooth V6 engine that remains a benchmark for long-term mechanical reliability. While the mileage reflects a life spent on well-maintained regional highways, Lexus vehicles of this era are prized in the GCC for their ability to withstand extreme heat better than many European rivals. The black exterior is a perennial favorite for resale in the local market, and the Japanese regional spec ensures the vehicle was built to high standards before arriving in the UAE. For a buyer seeking a blend of executive prestige and low-maintenance daily driving, this specific listing offers significant value compared to newer, more complex alternatives. It is a pragmatic choice for navigating city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh with comfort and style.

This Car vs Other 2007 IS250s

With 246,000 km, this vehicle has covered mileage that is typical for a 2007 model in the GCC, where long-distance commuting between emirates is standard. The black exterior is a high-demand color in the UAE, providing a distinct advantage for future resale value over less traditional tones. As a Japanese spec car, it benefits from a build quality that collectors and enthusiasts in the region specifically look for.

PREMIER vs Lower Trims

The Premier trim upgrades the cabin with premium leather upholstery and dual-zone automatic climate control, features that are essential for maintaining comfort during the peak GCC summer. It also adds advanced convenience features over the standard trim, including a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat and an enhanced audio system for a superior highway experience. These high-tier additions ensure a level of refinement that holds up better in the used market than basic entry-level models.

IS250 vs Segment Rivals

While cross-shopped with the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the IS250 stands out for its legendary reliability and lower long-term maintenance costs in the GCC. The naturally aspirated V6 provides a smoother, quieter delivery of power compared to the four-cylinder engines found in many entry-level German rivals from the same era. Its compact footprint makes it significantly easier to maneuver and park in dense urban areas like Dubai Marina or Downtown Riyadh.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 9.8L/100km combined, which is competitive for a V6 in GCC stop-start traffic and highway driving. Lexus maintains one of the strongest resale values in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with depreciation rates typically hovering around 8-10% annually, far lower than its European counterparts. The extensive Al-Futtaim and Abdul Latif Jameel service networks ensure that parts and qualified technicians are easily accessible across all GCC countries.

Performance & Capability

The 2.5L V6 engine delivers a verified 205 hp, providing smooth and consistent power for highway overtaking and cruising. With a 0-100 km/h time of 8.1 seconds and a top speed of 230 km/h, it offers a refined balance of performance that feels at home on fast-moving UAE motorways. The rear-wheel-drive chassis and double-wishbone front suspension ensure a composed ride that absorbs road imperfections during long-distance drives across the borders.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the IS250 features a five-seat layout with leather seating and dedicated rear climate vents to ensure all passengers remain cool in the desert heat. The cabin is well-insulated from external road noise, maintaining a quiet environment even at highway speeds. A 378-litre boot provides ample space for grocery runs or weekend trips, while the dual-zone climate control allows for personalized comfort settings between the driver and front passenger.

Safety

The 2007 IS250 comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including multiple airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Traction Control as standard. These systems are particularly beneficial for maintaining stability on sandy or gravel-strewn surfaces often encountered in the region. The vehicle's 5-star safety pedigree ensures peace of mind for daily family commuting or long-distance highway travel.

The bottom line

This Lexus IS250 is the perfect opportunity for a professional or small family looking for a reliable, executive sedan that carries a premium brand image without the high maintenance costs of a European rival.
