GMC Yukon DENALI

Highlights

• 403 hp from a 6.2-litre V8
• 3,674 kg braked towing capacity
• Bose audio system standard

Summary

This GCC-spec Yukon Denali is a standout example of American luxury engineering, offering a far more premium experience than the standard trims. With just 135,000 km, it has significantly lower mileage than the typical 250,000+ km usually seen on 2010 models in the region. The black exterior is the most sought-after color for this model in the UAE, ensuring strong resale demand and a timeless presence on the road. As the top-tier trim, it provides the ideal balance of heavy-duty V8 power for highway cruising and a refined cabin that remains comfortable during the peak of the GCC summer.

This Car vs Other 2010 Yukons

While many 2010 Yukons in the GCC market have exceeded the 250,000 km mark, this vehicle sits at an impressive 135,000 km, representing less than 10,000 km of use per year. This low mileage makes it a rare find for a buyer seeking mechanical longevity. The black paint is a high-value choice in the UAE, consistently commanding better resale prices than lighter or niche colors.

DENALI vs Lower Trims

The Denali is distinguished by its exclusive 6.2L V8 engine, providing a substantial power increase over the 5.3L found in SLE and SLT trims. It also adds the signature chrome honeycomb grille, real wood interior accents, and Magnetic Ride Control for a much smoother highway experience. Inside, you get standard ventilated seats and a premium Bose sound system that aren't guaranteed on lower-spec models.

Yukon vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol of the same era, the Yukon Denali offers a more road-focused, comfortable ride thanks to its sophisticated suspension. Its 98-litre fuel tank provides excellent range for long cross-border drives to Oman or Saudi Arabia. While rivals are often built for heavy off-roading, the Denali leads in cabin technology and sheer V8 torque for highway overtaking.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 14.5 L/100km, which is typical for a large displacement V8 in GCC highway conditions. Authorized service centers are widely available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring easy access to genuine parts. The Denali trim retains value better than the base SLE models, especially when kept in GCC spec with a documented history.

Performance & Capability

The 6.2L V8 produces 403 hp and 565 Nm of torque, making it a powerhouse for towing boats or trailers up to 3,674 kg. The heavy-duty 6-speed automatic transmission is tuned for long-distance durability, handling the extreme heat of UAE summers without hesitation. Whether you are merging onto the E11 or navigating city traffic, the power delivery is smooth and immediate.

Comfort & Cabin

This 7-seater configuration features a spacious three-row layout with dedicated rear climate control and roof-mounted vents to keep every passenger cool. The cabin is exceptionally well-insulated, minimizing wind noise during fast highway commutes. Premium leather seating and a power-adjustable steering column ensure long-distance comfort for the driver and family alike.

Safety

Safety is prioritized with a full suite of airbags, StabiliTrak stability control, and traction control designed for sand and gravel surfaces. This trim includes ultrasonic rear parking sensors and a rearview camera to assist with maneuvering such a large SUV. The body-on-frame construction provides a robust safety cell, making it one of the most secure choices for family travel in the region.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity for a GCC buyer to own a low-mileage, top-spec Denali that offers more luxury and power than modern base-trim SUVs at a fraction of the cost.
