Summary

This 2010 Lexus LS460 LWB represents the gold standard of Japanese engineering, offering a long-wheelbase cabin that remains one of the quietest in the luxury segment. Despite the higher mileage, the V8 powertrain is globally recognized for its million-kilometer durability, especially when maintained within the GCC's robust Lexus service network. Finished in black, this executive sedan holds exceptional resale value in the UAE market compared to its European counterparts. For a buyer seeking the pinnacle of rear-seat comfort and legendary reliability, this LS460 offers an unmatched combination of luxury and long-term mechanical peace of mind.

This Car vs Other 2010 LS460s

While the mileage is above average for a 2010 model, these vehicles are frequently utilized for high-speed highway commuting across the emirates, where the V8 engine operates at its most efficient. The black exterior is a highly desirable resale color in the GCC, ensuring faster liquidity compared to niche shades. Choosing a GCC-spec model over imported alternatives guarantees a cooling system and interior materials designed specifically for extreme desert heat.

LWB 5ST vs Lower Trims

The LWB (Long Wheelbase) trim provides significantly increased rear legroom compared to the standard model, transforming the back seat into a true executive suite. This 5-seater configuration adds premium features missing on base trims, including the 19-speaker Mark Levinson audio system and four-zone climate control. GCC buyers will particularly appreciate the power rear sunshades and ventilated rear seats that are standard on this long-wheelbase luxury specification.

LS460 vs Segment Rivals

The LS460 leads the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 Series in long-term reliability and lower maintenance costs within the GCC. Its 84-liter fuel tank is ideally suited for long-distance drives between Dubai and Riyadh without frequent stops. While rivals focus on aggressive handling, the Lexus prioritizes a cloud-like ride quality and cabin insulation that remains superior for daily traffic in busy GCC metros.

Running Costs & Resale

Lexus maintains the strongest value retention in the luxury sedan segment across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, typically depreciating much slower than its German rivals. The 4.6L V8 is engineered for longevity, with authorized service centers widely available in every major GCC city. While real-world fuel consumption averages around 11-13 L/100km depending on traffic, the ability to run reliably on local fuel grades makes it a practical executive choice.

Performance & Capability

The naturally aspirated 4.6L V8 produces 380 hp, delivering a seamless 0–100 km/h sprint in approximately 5.8 seconds. Power is delivered through a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission designed for effortless highway overtaking and refined city cruising. Even with high mileage, the mechanical refinement of this powertrain ensures a vibration-free experience that many modern four-cylinder luxury cars cannot match.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior features semi-aniline leather and genuine wood trim, creating a timeless luxury environment. The LWB configuration ensures ample space for five adults, with the four-zone climate control system providing independent cooling for all passengers—a critical feature for UAE summers. Acoustic glass and extensive sound deadening ensure the 19-speaker Mark Levinson system provides a concert-hall experience even at highway speeds.

Safety

This LS460 comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including eight airbags and advanced vehicle stability control. Standard features like adaptive front lighting, front and rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera provide essential assistance for navigating tight urban spaces. The heavy-duty braking system and high-strength steel chassis offer superior protection, making it one of the safest platforms for high-speed regional travel.

The bottom line

This LS460 LWB is the ideal choice for a buyer who values the prestige and comfort of a flagship Lexus with the proven durability to handle high-mileage GCC commuting. It offers an executive experience at a fraction of the cost of a newer model, backed by the most reliable service network in the region.
