Summary

This 16-year-old Lexus LS460 Luxury represents a high-water mark for Japanese executive refinement, offering a level of build quality that often outlasts its European contemporaries. With 191,000 km, the mileage is slightly below the 320,000 km+ typical for a vehicle of this age in the GCC, suggesting it has been used more conservatively than most long-distance highway cruisers. The grey exterior is a neutral, high-demand choice in the UAE market, ensuring stable resale value and excellent heat reflection during the summer months. As an American spec model, it carries the high-output V8 and premium interior finishes that made the LS a global benchmark for cabin silence. For the buyer who prioritizes mechanical reliability and a cloud-like ride over modern digital flash, this LS460 remains a formidable daily driver for the region.

This Car vs Other 2010 LS460s

At 191,000 km, this vehicle has covered significantly fewer kilometers than the 350,000 km average expected for a 16-year-old executive sedan in the GCC. The grey finish is one of the most resilient colors for the local climate, showing less wear from sand and maintaining a higher resale premium than bolder shades. While many American spec imports arrive with high mileage, this example stands out as a lower-use alternative that has avoided the typical cross-border fatigue.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Luxury trim elevates the LS460 experience with the inclusion of the 19-speaker Mark Levinson Reference Surround Sound system, which remains one of the best audio setups ever fitted to a production car. It also adds semi-aniline leather upholstery and ventilated front seats, a critical feature for comfort during the UAE's peak summer months. Unlike the base models, this trim often includes the power trunk closer and intuitive parking assist as standard equipment.

LS460 vs Segment Rivals

The LS460 competes directly with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 Series, but it distinguishes itself with a significantly lower cost of long-term ownership and a reputation for bulletproof electronics. While German rivals focus on high-speed Autobahn dynamics, the Lexus is engineered for total isolation, featuring thicker acoustic glass and a smoother 8-speed transmission. Its 4.6-liter V8 is also less sensitive to local fuel variations compared to the complex turbocharged units found in its peers.

Running Costs & Resale

Lexus enjoys the strongest resale value of any luxury brand in the GCC, typically depreciating at just 8–10% annually compared to 15%+ for European rivals. The naturally aspirated V8 is designed for longevity, with standard service intervals of 10,000 km widely supported by a massive network of authorized and independent specialists across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. Parts are readily available and shared across several Toyota platforms, ensuring that maintenance remains affordable even as the vehicle ages.

Performance & Capability

The 4.6-liter V8 produces a refined 380 hp, allowing this heavy sedan to reach 100 km/h in a swift 5.6 seconds, ensuring effortless overtaking on the E11 highway. The 8-speed automatic transmission was a world-first at launch, providing seamless shifts that prioritize passenger comfort above all else. Even at 16 years old, the LS460 maintains exceptional high-speed stability and a whisper-quiet cabin, making it ideal for cross-border trips between emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of wood and leather, featuring four-zone climate control with an infrared body temperature sensor that adjusts cooling based on passenger heat. With seating for four, the interior provides massive legroom and a rear-seat experience designed for executive transport, complete with dedicated cooling vents. Every surface is heavily insulated to block out the harsh GCC road noise and high ambient temperatures, maintaining a cool interior environment even in 45-degree heat.

Safety

Standard safety features include a comprehensive suite of eight airbags and high-performance ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution. The LS460 was a pioneer in integrated safety, featuring vehicle dynamics integrated management (VDIM) which coordinates the steering and braking to maintain stability on sand-dusted road surfaces. The adaptive front lighting system pivots the headlamps into corners, providing better visibility during nighttime desert highway driving.

The bottom line

This LS460 Luxury is the ideal choice for a savvy GCC buyer who wants S-Class levels of comfort with Toyota levels of reliability. Its below-average mileage and premium audio spec make it a standout opportunity in the current used market.
