Summary

This 2011 Lexus LS460 LWB represents the gold standard for executive transport in the GCC, offering a level of refinement that remains competitive over a decade later. With its extended wheelbase, it provides significant rear legroom and a more imposing road presence compared to the standard model. The white exterior is the most sought-after color for resale in the region, reflecting heat effectively and maintaining its value better than darker shades. Having covered 119,000 km, this car is well below the typical mileage for its age in the Emirates, suggesting a life of careful use. For a buyer seeking the pinnacle of Japanese reliability paired with a smooth V8 powertrain, this American-spec sedan offers a compelling luxury experience.

This Car vs Other 2011 LS460s

At 119,000 km, this vehicle's mileage is exceptionally low for the UAE market, where luxury sedans often accumulate 200,000 km or more by this age. The classic white paint is a significant asset for local resale, consistently outperforming other colors in buyer demand. While an American-spec car, its mechanical commonality with local models ensures ease of maintenance.

LWB 5ST vs Lower Trims

The LWB (Long Wheelbase) trim adds approximately 12 cm of rear legroom, transforming the back seat into a true executive lounge. This specific trim includes factory-upgraded leather, a power-operated rear sunshade, and a more sophisticated suspension tuning for enhanced highway stability. Unlike the base sedan, the LWB version provides the cavernous interior space required for chauffeur-driven comfort.

LS460 vs Segment Rivals

The LS460 leads rivals like the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class in long-term mechanical durability and lower complexity of repairs. Its 84-litre fuel tank is perfectly suited for long-distance cruising between cities like Dubai and Muscat. Lexus also maintains a reputation for the quietest cabin insulation in the segment, effectively shielding occupants from harsh road noise.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 10.8 L/100km on the highway, though GCC stop-start traffic will see this rise significantly. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km, with a vast network of authorized centers and independent Lexus specialists available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. The LS460 retains its value remarkably well, typically depreciating at a slower rate than its European counterparts due to its legendary reliability.

Performance & Capability

The naturally aspirated 4.6-litre V8 delivers 375 hp, allowing for a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 5.7 seconds, ensuring effortless overtaking on fast-moving highways like E11. Power is delivered through a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission that prioritizes comfort without sacrificing response. Even at its electronically limited top speed of 210 km/h, the car remains remarkably composed and stable.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat configuration features multi-zone climate control with powerful air conditioning designed to combat extreme summer heat. Acoustic glass and extensive sound dampening create a library-quiet environment, while the LWB frame ensures even tall passengers have ample room to stretch. Premium materials throughout the cabin, including semi-aniline leather, reflect the high build quality of this flagship model.

Safety

Standard safety features include a comprehensive ten-airbag system and sophisticated stability control to manage traction on sandy or rain-slicked surfaces. The vehicle is equipped with high-intensity discharge (HID) headlights for superior night visibility on unlit desert roads. Adaptive front lighting and electronic brakeforce distribution provide additional peace of mind during high-speed highway commutes.

The bottom line

This LS460 LWB is the ideal choice for a buyer who values rear-seat comfort and Japanese reliability over European complexity. Given its low mileage and resale-friendly color, it stands as one of the most sensible luxury purchases currently available in the regional market.
