Summary

This 2013 Continental GT is a standout example of Bentley’s grand touring mastery, featuring the highly sought-after Mulliner Driving Specification. The combination of its 580 hp W12 powerplant and the classic White exterior ensures excellent resale appeal in the GCC market, where neutral tones remain the most liquid choices. As a 13-year-old vehicle, it offers a level of handcrafted refinement and high-speed stability that modern rivals struggle to match at this price point. For the GCC buyer, this coupe represents the ideal balance of status, effortless highway overtaking power, and a cabin built to withstand the region's climate in absolute comfort. It remains a definitive choice for those who value the mechanical soul of a 12-cylinder engine in a world moving toward smaller configurations.

This Car vs Other 2013 Continental GTs

At 164,432 km, this vehicle’s mileage is average for a 13-year-old high-end grand tourer in the GCC, where long-distance highway commutes between emirates are standard. The white exterior is a strategic advantage, as it is the most preferred resale color in the UAE and Saudi Arabian markets, significantly aiding value retention. While many examples from this era lack premium packages, the inclusion of the Mulliner specification elevates this car above base models.

MULLINER vs Lower Trims

The Mulliner Driving Specification adds essential luxury upgrades that GCC buyers prioritize, most notably the diamond-quilted leather on the seats and door panels which provides a more bespoke feel. It also includes 21-inch six-spoke alloy wheels, a knurled sports gear lever, and drilled alloy pedals that sharpen the cabin's aesthetic. These features, along with the embroidered Bentley emblems, are key differentiators that sustain higher demand in the secondary market compared to the standard trim.

Continental GT vs Segment Rivals

Compared to rivals like the Aston Martin DB9 or Maserati GranTurismo, the Bentley leads with its superior all-wheel-drive traction and a more substantial 90-litre fuel tank, making it far better suited for cross-border GCC road trips. While the Maserati offers a sharper exhaust note, the Bentley’s W12 engine provides a level of low-end torque and high-speed refinement that the others cannot replicate. Its cabin insulation is also significantly more effective at blocking out desert wind noise during high-speed cruising.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the W12 engine typically averages around 14.5 L/100km, though city driving in stop-start traffic in Dubai or Riyadh will see this rise. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from a wide network of authorized service centers like Al Habtoor Motors in the UAE and SAMACO in Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts availability remains strong. While European luxury coupes experience higher depreciation than Japanese brands, the Continental GT retains roughly 60-65% of its value over a three-year cycle in the local market if maintained well.

Performance & Capability

The 6.0-litre W12 engine delivers a verified 0-100 km/h time of 4.5 seconds, providing the kind of effortless acceleration required for safe highway merging at 140 km/h. The All-Wheel Drive system ensures the car remains planted even during rare rain-slicked road conditions or on gravel-dusted surfaces. With a top speed of 318 km/h, its performance envelope is rarely tested, but the massive 700 Nm of torque ensures instant response at any speed.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of hand-stitched leather and premium veneers, designed to stay remarkably cool even in 45°C summer heat thanks to Bentley's robust climate control system. This Mulliner-spec interior features ventilated front seats with a massage function, providing essential comfort during long drives from Dubai to Muscat. The acoustic glazing ensures a quiet environment, shielding passengers from the harsh outside elements common in the Gulf environment.

Safety

Safety is managed by an advanced stability control system and permanent all-wheel drive, which are vital for maintaining traction on high-speed desert highways. This trim includes front and side airbags, parking sensors with a rear-view camera for navigating tight city parking, and powerful ventilated disc brakes designed to bring the car's substantial weight to a halt safely. Adaptive air suspension further enhances safety by maintaining vehicle level and stability regardless of passenger load.

The bottom line

This Bentley is perfect for the executive or enthusiast looking for a prestigious W12 grand tourer that has been correctly specified for the GCC market. Its Mulliner trim and high-demand color combination make it a smart acquisition for those who prioritize both luxury and future resale potential.
