Summary

This 2013 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG represents a rare opportunity to own the legendary W204 generation in its refined facelift form. With just 43,621 km, this GCC-spec example has been driven significantly less than the regional average, preserving the character of its iconic naturally aspirated 6.2L V8. The Grey exterior is a highly sought-after shade in the UAE, offering a sophisticated look that maintains strong resale appeal. As modern performance cars transition to smaller turbocharged engines, this high-revving powerhouse stands out as a pure enthusiast's choice. For a GCC buyer, this low-mileage sedan offers the perfect balance of daily usability and visceral AMG performance.

This Car vs Other 2013 C63 AMGs

While typical 2013 models in the GCC market often exceed 150,000 km due to frequent inter-emirate highway travel, this vehicle sits at an exceptionally low 43,621 km. This ultra-low mileage makes it one of the most preserved examples available locally, ensuring less wear on the high-performance cooling systems essential for the desert climate. The Grey finish is not only elegant but also highly practical for the region's dust, supporting better value retention than more niche colors.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The C63 AMG sits at the top of the C-Class range, offering a completely different mechanical architecture than the standard C250 or C300. Beyond the hand-built V8, this trim includes the AMG-specific wide-body styling, upgraded 7G-Tronic Speedshift MCT transmission, and high-performance braking systems. Inside, you receive Nappa leather AMG sports seats and the specific AMG performance steering wheel with aluminum paddles, features that are often expensive options on lesser trims.

C63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the BMW M3 (E92) and Audi RS5 of the same era, the C63 AMG is defined by its massive 6.2L displacement and superior torque delivery, which makes highway overtaking effortless on roads like the E11. While its rivals rely on higher revs or all-wheel drive, the Mercedes offers a more traditional 'muscle car' feel with its rear-wheel-drive layout. Its larger engine capacity provides a relaxed cruising character that is better suited for long-distance GCC drives than its more high-strung competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

As a GCC-spec vehicle, this C63 benefits from an extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, ensuring parts like the M156-specific filters and fluids are readily available. Real-world fuel consumption typically averages 12.1L/100km on the highway, though this increases in stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. The W204 generation has reached a point of price stability in the GCC, as enthusiasts specifically seek out the last of the naturally aspirated AMGs, leading to better value retention compared to newer turbocharged models.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this machine is the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8, delivering 457 hp and a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h. The 0–100 km/h sprint is achieved in just 4.4 seconds, accompanied by a signature exhaust note that remains a benchmark in the industry. Its rear-wheel-drive chassis is tuned for engagement, while the multiple drive modes allow you to soften the suspension for comfortable commutes between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for premium comfort even during peak GCC summers, featuring a high-capacity dual-zone climate control system that is specifically tuned for regional heat. The 5-seat layout is upholstered in high-grade leather, with the front AMG bucket seats providing excellent lateral support for spirited driving without sacrificing long-distance cushioning. Premium audio and the COMAND infotainment system ensure a connected and high-fidelity experience during everyday use.

Safety

Standard safety features on this trim include a comprehensive suite of 9 airbags and Mercedes-Benz's Pre-Safe system, which prepares the cabin for an impending collision. It also features high-performance ABS and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with three stages, providing a safety net that is particularly valuable on sandy or rain-slicked road surfaces. Adaptive braking technology and ATTENTION ASSIST further enhance safety during long highway stretches.

The bottom line

This is a collector-grade example of the final naturally aspirated C63, offering incredible performance and a GCC-proven history that makes it a standout choice for any serious automotive enthusiast in the region.
