• 306 hp from a naturally aspirated 3.5L V6
• 520 litres of boot space

Summary

This 13-year-old Mercedes-Benz CLS350 is a standout choice for those seeking the iconic four-door coupe silhouette with a reliable, naturally aspirated powertrain. With 95,000 km, its mileage is significantly lower than the GCC average for this age, suggesting a well-preserved life on the road. The 3.5-litre V6 provides a smooth, linear power delivery that is increasingly rare as modern equivalents move to smaller turbocharged units. Finished in silver, it holds one of the strongest resale colors in the region, ensuring it remains desirable for future buyers. For the GCC owner, this model offers a perfect balance of executive presence and high-speed highway refinement.

This Car vs Other 2013 CLS350s

While many 13-year-old executive sedans in the GCC have surpassed the 200,000 km mark, this example sits at a low 95,000 km. This below-average mileage represents a major mechanical advantage, indicating significantly less wear on the suspension and drivetrain. The silver exterior is a strategic choice for the local market, as it better reflects the intense summer heat and maintains a higher resale value than niche colors.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The CLS350 comes highly specified as standard, featuring the 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission and the more powerful 306 hp engine compared to the smaller four-cylinder diesel variants often found in other markets. It includes premium touches like the Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system and ambient cabin lighting, which are frequent priorities for luxury buyers in the Emirates. This trim also standardizes the COMAND infotainment interface, providing a tech-forward experience for its era.

CLS350 vs Segment Rivals

The CLS350 competes directly with the Audi A7 and the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe. While rivals often utilize complex turbocharged systems, the Mercedes 3.5L naturally aspirated V6 is celebrated for its long-term durability and smoother power curve. Its 520-litre boot offers practical cargo capacity that rivals several dedicated luxury sedans, making it a more versatile grand tourer for cross-emirate trips.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.5L V6 averages approximately 6.8 to 8.2 L/100km on combined cycles, performing efficiently on the long, steady-speed highways between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Mercedes-Benz maintains one of the most robust authorized service networks across the UAE and the wider GCC, ensuring parts availability is never a concern. As a non-GCC spec (Korean) vehicle, owners should verify service compatibility with local workshops, though the mechanical parts are globally shared.

Performance & Capability

With a 0–100 km/h time of just 6.1 seconds, the CLS350 offers brisk acceleration that makes highway merging and overtaking effortless. The 306 hp V6 engine is paired with a rear-wheel-drive layout, providing the classic Mercedes-Benz driving feel characterized by stability and poise. It reaches a top speed of 250 km/h, though its true strength lies in its ability to cruise at highway speeds with minimal cabin noise and total composure.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the CLS is a dedicated four-seater, offering individual rear chairs that provide a limousine-like experience for all passengers. The cabin is insulated to a high standard to protect against the GCC summer heat, complemented by a powerful climate control system with dedicated rear vents. High-quality materials, including wood inserts and supple leather, create an 'old world' luxury feel that remains a hallmark of the C218 generation.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this trim is extensive, featuring no fewer than 11 airbags to protect all four occupants. It includes Mercedes-Benz's pioneered Attention Assist fatigue detection and Lane Keeping Assist, both of which are highly beneficial for long-distance desert drives. The braking system is reinforced with ventilated discs to ensure consistent stopping power even in high-temperature environments.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a low-mileage, silver CLS350 that balances iconic styling with the reliable performance of a naturally aspirated V6, making it an ideal executive daily driver for the GCC.
