• 5-star NHTSA safety rating

Summary

This Infiniti QX60 represents a reliable entry into the premium three-row SUV segment, specifically suited for the GCC's demanding family logistics. While its mileage reflects regular highway use common in the region, the robust 3.5L V6 is famously durable and shares its mechanical DNA with the Nissan Pathfinder, ensuring parts are affordable and widely available. In the local market, the white exterior is the gold standard for heat reflection and resale liquidity, making this a safe choice for those prioritizing value. It offers a more refined driving experience than its mainstream rivals while maintaining the seating flexibility needed for school runs and cross-border road trips.

This Car vs Other 2014 QX60s

At 190,000 km, this vehicle’s mileage is average for a 10-year-old SUV in the GCC, where annual highway driving typically reaches 20,000 km. The Moonlight White paint is a significant asset in this market, holding its value better and staying cooler under the sun than darker alternatives. Choosing a GCC-spec model over US imports ensures the cooling system and AC are optimized for extreme summer temperatures.

PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The Premium trim significantly upgrades the cabin experience over the base model, adding a 13-speaker Bose Premium Audio system and memory settings for the driver’s seat and steering column. It also includes the enhanced Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, a feature highly valued for navigating tight parking spots in Dubai and Riyadh.

QX60 vs Segment Rivals

The QX60 leads rivals like the Acura MDX and Lexus RX in third-row access thanks to its innovative sliding second-row seat that tilts even with a child seat installed. Its 74-litre fuel tank provides a greater touring range for long desert highway hauls compared to many European luxury crossovers. Additionally, its ride quality is tuned for comfort, absorbing road imperfections better than the sportier BMW X5.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.5L V6 typically averages 10.2 L/100km on the highway, though GCC city traffic will see this rise. Infiniti enjoys an extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait via partners like Arabian Automobiles and Al Masaood, keeping maintenance straightforward. Resale value remains stable due to its shared platform with the Nissan Pathfinder, which keeps long-term repair costs lower than European competitors.

Performance & Capability

The 265 hp V6 delivers smooth, linear power that is ideal for overtaking on the E11 or E311 highways. With a verified towing capacity of 2,268 kg, it is capable of hauling small boats or jet ski trailers for weekend trips to the coast. The All-Wheel Drive system provides added stability on rain-slicked roads or gravel tracks, making it a versatile family companion.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat layout features theater-style seating, ensuring rear passengers have a clear view forward to help prevent motion sickness during long drives. The Tri-Zone automatic climate control is powerful enough to maintain a chill throughout the cabin during a GCC mid-day peak. Premium leather upholstery and wood-tone accents provide a refined atmosphere that remains competitive with newer luxury SUVs.

Safety

Safety is a hallmark of this trim, carrying a 5-star NHTSA overall rating and a comprehensive airbag system covering all three rows. Standard driver aids like Blind Spot Warning and Forward Collision Warning are particularly effective for the fast-paced, multi-lane highway environments found in major GCC cities. The Backup Collision Intervention system adds an extra layer of protection when reversing in busy school zones or shopping malls.

The bottom line

This QX60 is an ideal opportunity for a family buyer looking for Infiniti luxury and Nissan-style reliability at a stabilized price point. Its GCC specification and white exterior make it a pragmatic, high-value choice for the local market.
