Summary

This 2015 Bentley Flying Spur W12 is a standout example of British grand touring, finished in a refined Bronze that holds its appeal in the GCC used market. With 73,000 km over 11 years, this sedan has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000 km annual average seen in the region. The flagship W12 engine offers a level of effortless power and mechanical smoothness that its V8 counterparts cannot match, making it the preferred choice for long-distance highway cruises between emirates. In a market where presence and performance are key, this GCC-spec Flying Spur represents a high-water mark for executive travel. For a buyer seeking the ultimate blend of handcrafted luxury and high-speed stability, this listing offers a well-preserved entry into the Bentley lifestyle.

This Car vs Other 2015 Flying Spurs

While many luxury sedans of this vintage in the UAE accumulate high mileage on the daily Dubai-Abu Dhabi commute, this vehicle has averaged just over 6,600 km per year. This low usage suggests a car that has spent more time in climate-controlled environments than on the open road. The Bronze exterior is a sophisticated alternative to the standard monochrome palette, offering strong aesthetic longevity for local resale.

W12 vs Lower Trims

The W12 trim is the definitive Flying Spur experience, providing 116 hp more than the V8 model and a significant leap in torque for immediate overtaking power. Beyond the engine, W12 models often feature upgraded interior veneers and larger alloy wheels as standard. The presence of the W12 badge remains a significant status symbol in the GCC, ensuring the car stays desirable among elite buyers.

Flying Spur vs Segment Rivals

The Flying Spur leads rivals like the Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG and BMW 760Li through its hand-assembled interior and the sheer character of its 6.0-litre W-configuration engine. While German rivals focus on digital interfaces, the Bentley emphasizes tactile luxury with knurled metal and thick leather. Its standard all-wheel-drive system also provides superior high-speed stability on wind-swept desert highways compared to rear-drive competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the W12 typically averages 14.4 L/100km, reflecting its substantial displacement and power. Bentley service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km in the GCC to account for extreme summer heat, with an extensive authorized service network available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. While high-end luxury sedans experience sharp early depreciation, a W12 model of this age has largely stabilized, offering better value retention than newer, entry-level luxury alternatives.

Performance & Capability

The 616 hp W12 engine propels this 2.4-tonne sedan to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, a feat that remains impressive even by modern standards. With a top speed of 320 km/h, it is designed for sustained high-speed travel, offering a planted and composed feel at any velocity. The 8-speed automatic transmission is tuned for seamless shifts, ensuring that the surge of power feels like a continuous wave rather than a series of gears.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the cabin is a sanctuary of five-seat luxury, featuring hand-stitched leather and deep-pile carpets that insulate passengers from road noise and heat. Multi-zone climate control is engineered to combat 45°C+ temperatures effectively, maintaining a chilled environment throughout the cabin. The rear seating area provides generous legroom, making it equally suited for family road trips or chauffeured executive use.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive suite of active systems, including Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Traction Control, which are vital for maintaining grip on sandy or rain-slicked tarmac. The W12 trim includes a robust array of airbags and advanced braking systems standard, providing peace of mind during fast-moving highway traffic. Its heavy chassis and all-wheel-drive architecture offer a naturally secure footprint for all regional driving conditions.

The bottom line

This W12 Flying Spur is the perfect acquisition for a GCC enthusiast who demands the prestige of a 12-cylinder Bentley with the added benefit of exceptionally low mileage for its age.
