Summary

This 2017 Bentley Bentayga Signature offers the immense power of the W12 engine paired with an understated white exterior, which is highly sought after for resale in the GCC. Despite its higher mileage, this Korean-spec vehicle represents the early-production era of the world's most luxurious SUV, delivering levels of torque and refinement that V8 competitors simply cannot match. The Signature trim was designed to bundle the most popular options, including off-road modes and the premium sound system, making it an ideal grand tourer for long drives between emirates. For a buyer looking to enter the ultra-luxury segment with a presence that rivals the Cullinan at a fraction of the cost, this W12 remains a formidable choice for regional highway cruising.

This Car vs Other 2017 Bentaygas

With 170,000 km, this Bentayga has been driven more than the typical GCC luxury average, but its W12 engine is engineered for high-speed endurance and longevity. The white exterior is the strongest possible color for resale in the Middle East, offering better heat reflection and market liquidity compared to darker shades. While most 2017 units in the region are GCC-spec, this Korean-spec model provides an identical mechanical foundation with a unique configuration of interior tech.

SIGNATURE vs Lower Trims

The Signature trim was introduced to bridge the gap to the Mulliner flagship, adding the All-Terrain Specification which includes four dedicated off-road modes and enhanced underbody protection. It also features the City Specification as standard, providing a 360° camera, traffic sign recognition, and pedestrian warning systems that were optional on the base Onyx trim. The interior is elevated with the Mulliner Driving Specification, identifiable by the iconic diamond-quilted leather and drilled alloy sports pedals.

Bentayga vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Range Rover Autobiography or the Lamborghini Urus, the Bentayga W12 leads in outright refinement and high-speed stability. Its 600 hp W12 engine offers a smoother power delivery for long-distance cruising than the V8s found in the Urus or Mercedes-Maybach GLS. With an 85-litre fuel tank, it provides the range necessary for cross-border travel that more fuel-sensitive rivals often lack.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the W12 averages roughly 19 L/100km in city traffic and drops to 12.2 L/100km on the highway. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km or annually, and with Bentley's strong authorized presence across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, parts and specialized labor are readily accessible. As a Korean-spec vehicle, owners should verify service compatibility at local agencies, though independent specialists in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are well-equipped to maintain this global platform.

Performance & Capability

The 6.0L twin-turbo W12 generates a massive 900 Nm of torque, allowing this 2.4-tonne SUV to reach 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. It features permanent All-Wheel Drive and an sophisticated air suspension system that can raise the vehicle for off-road obstacles or lower it for high-speed highway stability. With a braked towing capacity of 3,500 kg, it is as capable at pulling a luxury boat as it is at crossing the desert floor.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a showcase of British craftsmanship, featuring a 5-seat layout with four-zone climate control designed to handle extreme GCC summers. Acoustic glass ensures the interior remains a silent sanctuary even at triple-digit speeds, while the panoramic sunroof provides an expansive feel. The Signature trim includes ventilated seats and a premium audio system, ensuring maximum comfort during long drives from Dubai to Muscat.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive ADAS suite including blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, and a 360° camera system essential for navigating narrow city parking. The vehicle is equipped with Night Vision to detect hazards on unlit desert roads and an advanced stability control system that adjusts to sand, gravel, and wet surfaces. Multiple airbags and a high-strength body structure provide a 5-star level of protection for all five occupants.

The bottom line

For the executive who prioritizes W12 power and Bentley's flagship presence, this Signature edition offers a highly spec'd entry point into ultra-luxury SUV ownership with the most resale-friendly color combination in the GCC.
