Summary

This Bentley Flying Spur is a standout executive sedan, offering the rare combination of a hand-assembled W12 engine and incredibly low mileage for its age. With just 57,000 km over 9 years, it has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000 km per year seen in the GCC, making it a prime specimen for a collector or luxury enthusiast. The Blue exterior is a timeless choice that maintains strong presence and resale appeal in the UAE market. As a GCC-spec W12 model, it provides the ultimate in high-speed stability and cabin cooling, essential for cross-emirate summer drives. This is the definitive choice for those who require supercar performance wrapped in the finest British craftsmanship.

This Car vs Other 2017 Flying Spurs

While most 9-year-old luxury sedans in the GCC have surpassed the 150,000 km mark, this example sits at a remarkable 57,000 km. This ultra-low mileage suggests a life of careful use and indoor storage, protecting the hand-stitched leather and wood veneers from the harsh desert sun. The Blue paintwork is a sophisticated alternative to the common silver, offering better distinction while remaining a highly liquid color for the local used market.

W12 vs Lower Trims

The W12 is the flagship of the range, replacing the 4.0L V8 with Bentley's iconic 6.0L 12-cylinder powerhouse for effortless overtaking. Beyond the engine, the W12 trim standardizes premium features often optional on the V8, including larger 20-inch alloy wheels, a more sophisticated air suspension calibration, and expanded interior hide options. In the GCC, the W12’s extra torque is felt most during high-speed highway cruising, where the car maintains total serenity.

Flying Spur vs Segment Rivals

The Flying Spur competes with the Rolls-Royce Ghost and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, but leads in driver engagement and sheer top-end speed. Its 320 km/h top speed outclasses the electronically limited German rivals, while the All Wheel Drive system provides superior traction on sand-dusted coastal roads. For the owner-driver in the GCC, the Bentley offers a more athletic chassis without sacrificing the rear-seat opulence required for executive transport.

Running Costs & Resale

The W12 powertrain is designed for longevity, with major service intervals typically every 16,000 km or 12 months at authorized Bentley centers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and across the GCC. While fuel consumption reflects the 12-cylinder performance, the 90-liter tank provides substantial range for long-distance trips between major cities. As a GCC-spec vehicle with documented low mileage, this car follows a much slower depreciation curve than high-mileage or imported equivalents, retaining a higher percentage of its value at the 3-year ownership mark.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this vehicle is a 552 hp twin-turbocharged W12, capable of launching this 2.5-ton sedan to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds. This massive power is managed by an 8-speed automatic transmission and a permanent All Wheel Drive system with a rear-biased torque split for sporty handling. Whether navigating stop-start city traffic in Riyadh or cruising at speed on the E11, the variable power steering and adaptive air suspension ensure the ride remains perfectly composed.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of hand-fitted leather and mirror-matched wood veneers, featuring a 4-zone climate control system engineered to maintain a chilled environment even in 50°C heat. All five passengers enjoy multi-way power-adjustable seats with heating and ventilation, which are critical for summer comfort in the GCC. Acoustic glazing and extensive soundproofing isolate the interior from road and wind noise, creating a mobile office or relaxation space of the highest order.

Safety

Safety is paramount, with a comprehensive suite of systems including Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), hydraulic brake assist, and a sophisticated tire pressure monitoring system. The All Wheel Drive system provides mechanical confidence during rare desert rain or on high-speed highways, complemented by a full array of front, side, and curtain airbags. Standard parking sensors and a rearview camera make maneuvering this large sedan effortless in tight urban parking environments.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a flagship W12 Bentley with mileage that effectively places it in a different league than any other 2017 model on the market. It is the perfect acquisition for a buyer who demands the pinnacle of GCC-spec luxury and performance at a fraction of the original cost.
