Summary

This 2017 Mercedes-Benz E300 AMG combines executive presence with the aggressive styling of the AMG exterior package. As a 9-year-old vehicle with 104,000 km, its mileage is significantly lower than the GCC average for this age, suggesting a history of light use. The black-on-black color combination remains one of the most desirable and highest-resale configurations for luxury sedans in the UAE market. This American spec model often features high-tech cabin options that provide a more engaging digital experience than basic regional equivalents. For a buyer looking to step into the W213 generation E-Class, this listing offers a well-maintained entry into Mercedes-Benz's most successful executive platform.

This Car vs Other 2017 E300s

With 104,000 km on the clock, this E300 has covered roughly 11,500 km per year, which is less than half the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km. While American spec vehicles should be inspected for service history, the low mileage is a strong indicator of mechanical longevity. The deep black paint is a preferred choice for the E-Class, ensuring it holds its visual appeal and value better than lighter or more niche colors.

AMG vs Lower Trims

The AMG trim transforms the E300 from a conservative sedan into a sport-focused executive car, adding deeper front aprons, side sills, and larger wheels. Inside, you benefit from a sportier steering wheel and often upgraded upholstery that mimics the high-performance E63. These aesthetic and aerodynamic enhancements are highly valued by UAE buyers and provide a sharper presence on the road compared to the standard Avantgarde or Luxury lines.

E300 vs Segment Rivals

The E300 leads the BMW 530i and Audi A6 in cabin technology and interior design, featuring a more fluid dashboard layout that feels a generation ahead. Its 9G-TRONIC transmission offers smoother shifts during city commutes than many rivals' 7 or 8-speed units. For those frequently driving between Emirates, the E-Class is widely regarded as the segment benchmark for high-speed highway stability and noise insulation.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.0L turbo engine is efficient for city driving, averaging approximately 6.6 L/100km on the highway, making it more economical for the daily commute than its V6 predecessors. While American spec models can see higher depreciation in the GCC than local specs, their lower initial price point often provides better value for the second owner. Mercedes-Benz has an extensive authorized service network across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the wider GCC, ensuring parts for the E-Class are readily available.

Performance & Capability

A 0-100 km/h time of 6.2 seconds ensures this sedan has plenty of punch for merging onto fast-moving UAE highways like the E11. The 9-speed automatic transmission is tuned for seamless power delivery, keeping the engine in its optimal torque band during overtakes. Selectable drive modes allow you to stiffen the steering and sharpen the throttle response for a more spirited drive through Jebel Jais or keep it relaxed for city traffic.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a standout feature, utilizing premium materials and 64-color ambient lighting to create a first-class environment for five passengers. Powerful air conditioning and excellent cabin insulation are essential for the GCC summer, keeping the interior quiet and cool regardless of external heat. This model year marked the transition to a more digital-focused cockpit, offering an intuitive interface that still feels modern today.

Safety

Standard safety tech on this E300 includes active brake assist and the Pre-Safe system, which prepares the cabin for a collision to minimize occupant injury. For highway driving, features like blind-spot monitoring and driver attention assist provide crucial layers of protection in fast-moving multi-lane traffic. The W213 generation was engineered with a high-strength passenger cell, earning it top marks in international crash testing.

The bottom line

This is an ideal opportunity for an executive or family looking for the prestige of an AMG-styled E-Class at a significantly lower entry price, benefiting from exceptionally low mileage for its age.
