While the mileage reflects consistent use, the Altima is well-regarded in the region for its mechanical durability and parts availability. The black exterior remains a staple choice for resale in the local market, ensuring steady demand. For buyers seeking a reliable commuter that balances running costs with a spacious interior, this listing represents a sensible and well-equipped opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2018 Altimas

At 145,000 km, this Altima’s mileage is average for a 2018 model in the GCC, where long-distance highway commutes are standard. The black exterior is a highly sought-after resale color in the local market, often holding value better than niche shades. As a Canadian-spec model, it shares high mechanical commonality with local GCC versions, ensuring ease of maintenance.

SV vs Lower Trims

The SV trim adds essential upgrades over the base S, most notably the remote engine start system which allows you to cool the cabin before entering—a critical feature for the GCC climate. It also introduces 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and dual-zone automatic climate control for improved passenger comfort. Safety is significantly enhanced with standard Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

Altima vs Segment Rivals

The Altima leads rivals like the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord in seat comfort, utilizing Nissan's 'Zero Gravity' technology which reduces fatigue during long inter-emirate drives. Its 68-litre fuel tank provides a generous cruising range, making it a preferred choice for those traveling frequently between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Furthermore, the Altima’s trunk space is among the most competitive in its class at 436 litres.

Running Costs & Resale

With a combined fuel consumption of approximately 7.6 L/100km, the Altima is one of the most efficient non-hybrid sedans in its segment. Nissan maintains one of the most extensive authorized service networks across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider GCC, ensuring parts are affordable and readily available. The model typically experiences a stable depreciation rate of 8-10% annually, benefiting from strong brand trust in the local used market.

Performance & Capability

The 2.5L four-cylinder engine produces 182 hp, providing smooth and predictable power for highway overtaking and city merging. Paired with a Xtronic CVT, the drivetrain is optimized for efficiency and low-RPM cruising, which translates to a quieter cabin at high speeds. While focused on comfort, the suspension is tuned to handle the varying road surfaces found across the region, from smooth motorways to older urban streets.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Altima SV features premium cloth seating and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, creating a refined atmosphere for a commuter vehicle. The dual-zone automatic climate control is powerful enough to combat 45°C temperatures, supplemented by rear passenger heating ducts. The cabin is also equipped with a 7.0-inch display featuring smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless connectivity.

Safety

This trim is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including Automatic Emergency Braking and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning as standard. For highway safety, the Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert systems provide vital assistance in fast-moving traffic. The vehicle also features six standard airbags and a 5-star overall safety rating from the NHTSA, providing peace of mind for family transport.

The bottom line

This Altima SV is a smart choice for the budget-conscious professional who needs a comfortable, tech-ready sedan with the cooling power and reliability required for GCC life.
