Summary

This 2019 Audi Q8 55 TFSI S-Line offers a perfect entry point into Audi's flagship SUV lineup, combining a high-demand black exterior with the prestige of the S-Line package. While the mileage reflects active use across the Emirates, this GCC-spec vehicle has been maintained to handle the region's unique climate and high-speed highway requirements. As a flagship model, it stands out with a coupe-like silhouette that doesn't compromise on rear-seat headroom, making it a favorite for executive family use. The combination of the V6 mild-hybrid powertrain and quattro all-wheel drive ensures a stable and responsive drive, whether navigating Dubai's city traffic or cruising to Abu Dhabi. This specific listing represents strong value for a buyer wanting a modern, tech-heavy SUV that retains a significant presence on the road.

This Car vs Other 2019 Q8s

At 120,000 km, this Q8 has been driven slightly above the average annual mileage for the GCC but remains mechanically suited for continued long-distance travel. The black exterior is one of the most liquid colors in the local used market, significantly aiding future resale value compared to niche colors. Choosing a GCC-spec model ensures the cooling systems and air conditioning are optimized for 45°C+ summer peaks.

55 TFSI S-LINE vs Lower Trims

The S-Line trim significantly enhances the Q8’s visual impact with more aggressive bumpers, side sills, and larger 21-inch wheels compared to the base Premium trim. Inside, this trim typically adds the Bang & Olufsen 3D audio system and ventilated seats, which are essential for comfort during the UAE summer. It also includes the 360-degree camera system, a vital upgrade for navigating tight parking spaces in modern GCC developments.

Q8 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, the Audi Q8 leads with superior rear-seat legroom and a more usable boot space of up to 605 litres. Its 85-litre fuel tank is specifically advantageous for long-distance cross-border drives, offering a longer range between stops than some European competitors. The Q8’s Virtual Cockpit remains a segment-leading interface for clarity and ease of use on fast-moving multi-lane highways.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.0L V6 mild-hybrid system typically returns between 9.2L/100km on the highway and 12.5L/100km in stop-start city traffic. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from a wide network of authorized Audi service centers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and across the region, ensuring parts availability is high. The Q8 holds its value well in the UAE luxury SUV market, typically seeing a depreciation of 12-15% annually, which is competitive for the flagship European segment.

Performance & Capability

The 55 TFSI powertrain delivers a robust 500 Nm of torque, allowing this large SUV to reach 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds. The standard quattro all-wheel-drive system provides exceptional grip on gravel-covered roads and during rare heavy rain events, while the adaptive suspension adjusts to provide comfort on rougher terrain. Multiple drive modes, including an Offroad setting, allow for light desert excursions and beach access while maintaining refined highway manners.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is focused on executive comfort, featuring high-quality leather and three screens that manage everything from navigation to four-zone climate control. In the GCC heat, the powerful air conditioning and rear cooling vents ensure all passengers remain comfortable even in direct sunlight. The sliding and reclining rear bench allows you to prioritize either passenger legroom or cargo space depending on the needs of the trip.

Safety

The 2019 Q8 is equipped with Audi Pre Sense as standard, which includes forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking. Useful features for GCC driving include blind-spot monitoring for fast-moving highway lanes and a 360-degree camera system for increased visibility. This trim also features adaptive cruise control, which reduces driver fatigue during long desert highway stretches by maintaining a safe distance from vehicles ahead.

The bottom line

For the UAE buyer looking for a flagship luxury SUV with a dominant road presence and premium technology, this black S-Line Q8 is a highly practical and stylish choice that stands out in the pre-owned market.
