• 362 hp from a 3.0L V6 biturbo
• Top speed of 250 km/h

Summary

This 2019 GLC 43 AMG offers a compelling entry into the world of high-performance SUVs, combining daily usability with a characterful V6 biturbo powertrain. With just 28,500 km on the odometer, this example represents significantly lower-than-average usage for a five-year-old vehicle in the GCC, where highway-heavy commutes are the norm. The black exterior remains the most sought-after resale choice in the local market, ensuring strong liquidity when you decide to upgrade. It bridges the gap between the standard GLC 300 and the hardcore V8 models, providing a perfect balance of sport-tuned air suspension and executive refinement. For a buyer in the UAE or wider GCC, the combination of low mileage and the versatile 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system makes this a top-tier candidate for both city sprints and inter-emirate cruising.

This Car vs Other 2019 GLC 43 AMGs

While many 2019 models in the GCC market have exceeded the 100,000 km mark due to frequent long-distance driving, this listing shows only 28,500 km, placing it in the top tier of available inventory for its year. The black finish is a high-demand choice in the region, traditionally holding its value better and selling faster than unconventional colors. As an American spec vehicle, it offers the same mechanical performance as local variants but requires a pre-purchase check to ensure infotainment and navigation are optimized for local maps.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

Moving up from the GLC 300 to the AMG GLC 43 adds critical performance hardware including the biturbo V6, 20-inch AMG wheels, and a multi-chamber air suspension system (AIR BODY CONTROL) that adapts to GCC road surfaces. Inside, the trim upgrades the experience with standard heated front seats, the Premium Package's blind-spot monitoring, and AMG-specific sport seats with red contrast stitching. These features, along with the performance-tuned 9-speed transmission, are highly valued by local buyers who prioritize both speed and interior tech.

GLC 43 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The GLC 43 AMG competes directly with the BMW X3 M40i and the Porsche Macan S, often leading in pure cabin comfort and ride quality thanks to its air suspension. It offers more rear knee room than the Macan, making it a more practical choice for family duties in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. While rivals focus heavily on track-like stiffness, the Mercedes-AMG balances its 362 hp output with a refined exhaust note that is exciting yet suitable for daily executive commuting.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 10.6 L/100km, which is efficient for a performance SUV during highway drives between emirates, though stop-start city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai will see this rise. Mercedes-Benz maintains a massive authorized service network across all major GCC cities, ensuring parts like filters and brake pads are readily available. The GLC 43 typically experiences a depreciation rate of 12-15% annually in the UAE, slightly higher than Japanese rivals but notably better than more niche European performance brands due to high local demand.

Performance & Capability

The standout figure is the 4.9-second 0-100 km/h acceleration, allowing for effortless merging onto high-speed GCC highways like the E11. The AMG Performance 4MATIC system features a rear-biased torque split (31:69), providing the agility of a sports car while maintaining the stability needed for gravel roads or sudden summer rain. Multiple drive modes via DYNAMIC SELECT allow the driver to soften the suspension for comfort-oriented school runs or stiffen the chassis for spirited weekend drives through the Hajar Mountains.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a five-seat sanctuary featuring dual-zone climate control capable of handling extreme 45°C summer temperatures effectively. Standard acoustic glass helps isolate the interior from road noise during high-speed desert crossings, while the 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats provide up to 550 liters of boot space for family road trips. The combination of MB-Tex upholstery and DINAMICA microfibre inserts ensures the seats remain comfortable even when the car has been parked in the sun.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes Active Brake Assist, Attention Assist to monitor driver fatigue during long desert drives, and a total of seven airbags. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system acts as a primary active safety feature, providing superior traction on the sandy or dusty surfaces common in the region. Blind-spot monitoring and a rearview camera are also included, which are essential for navigating the multi-lane highway systems of the GCC.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer seeking a low-mileage performance SUV that balances AMG pedigree with daily practicality, this exceptionally well-maintained GLC 43 is a standout opportunity in a highly competitive market.
