Summary

This 2020 Bentley Continental GT W12 represents the pinnacle of British grand touring, offering a rare combination of twelve-cylinder effortless power and hand-finished craftsmanship. With only 36,000 km, this example sits well below the typical 80,000 km expected for a four-year-old vehicle in the GCC, making it a standout choice for buyers prioritizing mechanical longevity. The brown exterior is a sophisticated alternative to common silver or white, often favored by regional collectors for its understated presence. While rivals may offer performance, none match the sheer mechanical theatre of the W12 engine, which has now become a defining and increasingly rare powertrain in the segment. For the UAE buyer, this car offers the perfect balance of prestige and high-speed stability for cross-emirate highway commutes.

This Car vs Other 2020 Continental GTs

At 36,000 km, this Continental GT has been driven significantly less than the 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen across the UAE and wider GCC. The brown finish is a distinctive, premium choice that holds its appeal well among regional luxury buyers who value exclusivity over high-volume white or silver models. This lower-than-average mileage ensures the complex W12 air suspension and drivetrain components remain in excellent health.

W12 vs Lower Trims

The W12 trim is the definitive Bentley experience, adding four cylinders and a substantial power increase over the V8 model for a smoother, more effortless delivery. Beyond the engine, W12 models typically come equipped with higher-tier interior finishes and the essential Touring Specification, including a head-up display and adaptive cruise control which are vital for long Abu Dhabi to Dubai drives. The W12 also features unique exterior badging and larger oval tailpipes that distinguish it from the quad-pipe V8.

Continental GT vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Aston Martin DB11 or the Ferrari Roma, the Continental GT leads with its all-wheel-drive stability and a substantial 90-litre fuel tank designed for long-range touring across the region. While its rivals focus on aggressive track-like responses, the Bentley offers a much quieter cabin and superior air conditioning performance, specifically engineered to maintain a chilled environment even during peak summer heat.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the W12 is approximately 13.6 L/100km on a combined cycle, though GCC highway cruising can see improved efficiency thanks to cylinder deactivation technology that shuts down half the engine when not under load. Bentley has an established authorized service network across major GCC cities including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh, with recommended service intervals every 16,000 km or 12 months. As the W12 powertrain is phased out of production, this specific model is expected to hold its value more strongly than V8 counterparts due to its status as the final evolution of the 6.0L era.

Performance & Capability

The W12 engine produces a massive 635 hp and 900 Nm of torque, allowing for a top speed of 333 km/h, making it one of the fastest grand tourers available on local roads. The active all-wheel-drive system and 48V electronic active roll control provide incredible stability during high-speed overtaking and cornering on winding coastal roads. Despite its luxury focus, the 0–100 km/h time of 3.7 seconds ensures it can keep pace with most modern supercars while maintaining total cabin serenity.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features a four-seat layout with multi-way power-adjustable leather seats that include heating and cooling, a necessity for the GCC climate. The 12.3-inch rotating display allows for a clean dashboard look when parked, while the multi-zone climate control system is reinforced by thick acoustic glass to block out both exterior noise and desert heat. The 358-litre boot is perfectly sized for two full sets of golf clubs or premium weekend luggage for cross-border trips.

Safety

This Continental GT is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Night Vision, a 360-degree camera for effortless parking in tight city spaces, and blind-spot monitoring for fast-moving highway traffic. The advanced All-Wheel Drive system works with electronic stability control to manage grip on sand-dusted surfaces, while the adaptive cruise control with traffic assist reduces fatigue during heavy Dubai rush hour traffic. Multiple airbags and a high-strength aluminum frame provide top-tier passenger protection.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a low-mileage, W12-powered icon in a distinctive colorway, perfectly suited for a buyer who demands the highest level of British engineering and long-distance comfort in the UAE.
