Summary

This 2020 Bentley Continental GT W12 represents the peak of grand touring, pairing the effortless power of twelve cylinders with an all-wheel-drive system tuned for high-speed stability. With 81,636 km on the clock, this car has been driven as a true tourer, and its white exterior remains one of the most liquid and desirable colors for resale in the UAE. This third-generation model features the vastly improved 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, offering a sharper driving experience than its predecessors. For the GCC buyer, the W12 engine provides a level of highway refinement and prestige that the V8 cannot match. It remains a standout choice for those who value long-distance comfort without sacrificing supercar-level performance.

This Car vs Other 2020 Continental GTs

While many 2020 Continentals in the market are low-mileage weekend cars, this example's 81,636 km reflects regular highway use, which often prevents the common air suspension and battery issues found in sitting cars. The white exterior is the premier choice for the GCC, significantly aiding in cabin heat management and ensuring the strongest possible resale value in the UAE and Saudi markets. For its year, this car offers a mature alternative to newer but lower-spec V8 models.

W12 vs Lower Trims

The W12 trim is defined by the Bentley Dynamic Ride system, which uses 48V active roll control to keep the car level through corners—a feature not standard on basic V8 trims. Beyond the added 93 hp, the W12 adds unique exterior jewelry and often includes higher-tier leather options and a more sophisticated active all-wheel-drive split. This trim is designed specifically for those who prioritize the silent, muscular delivery of a twelve-cylinder powertrain over the more vocal V8.

Continental GT vs Segment Rivals

The Continental GT leads rivals like the Aston Martin DB11 and Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe in terms of daily usability and cabin insulation. Its massive 90-litre fuel tank provides a highway range of approximately 600–700 km, making it superior for cross-emirate trips compared to its more frequent-stopping competitors. The Bentley also features a more advanced 12.3-inch rotating display, bridging the gap between classic craftsmanship and modern tech better than the aging platforms of its rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

The W12 engine typically sees a real-world combined fuel consumption of 13.6 L/100km, though this can rise to 17 L/100km in GCC city traffic. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km or 12 months, with authorized service centers readily available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Doha. While W12 models carry higher maintenance costs than the V8, they hold a unique status in the GCC used market as the 'proper' Bentley flagship, helping to stabilize long-term depreciation compared to European-spec imports.

Performance & Capability

With a verified top speed of 333 km/h, this is one of the fastest four-seat cars in the world. The 635 hp engine delivers 900 Nm of torque from just 1,350 rpm, providing effortless overtaking power on fast-moving UAE highways. The active all-wheel-drive system constantly monitors grip, shifting torque to the front wheels only when necessary to maintain a rear-biased, sporty feel. Four distinct drive modes, including the 'Bentley' setting, perfectly balance chassis stiffness for varying GCC road surfaces.

Comfort & Cabin

The 4-seat cabin is a masterclass in insulation, featuring acoustic glass that virtually eliminates desert wind noise at high speeds. This trim includes the essential GCC-spec front seat ventilation and a powerful multi-zone climate control system designed to withstand 50°C summers. The interior is finished in hand-stitched leather with a digital cockpit that remains sharp and responsive. Rear seats are usable for shorter trips, and the 358-litre boot provides enough space for weekend grand touring luggage.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this trim includes frontal collision mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, and a safe passenger exit system to warn of approaching vehicles. For the high-speed highway environment of the GCC, the Bentley features highly advanced stability control and an array of airbags including side-curtain and knee protection. Most W12 examples in this region also come equipped with the 360-degree camera system for easier parking in tight urban spaces.

The bottom line

For the buyer seeking the prestige of a W12 Bentley in the region's most resilient resale color, this GCC-spec Continental GT offers an unmatched blend of daily comfort and immense performance. It is the definitive choice for an enthusiast who intends to drive their luxury car as it was engineered—across borders and across Emirates.
