• 4MATIC all-wheel drive standard
• 10.25-inch MBUX touchscreen standard

Summary

This low-mileage 2020 GLC 300 AMG represents a compelling find in the UAE market, with its odometer sitting well below the typical 80,000–100,000 km expected for its age. The AMG styling package and black-on-black aesthetic are among the most sought-after combinations for resale across the GCC. As a facelifted X253 model, it features the upgraded 255-horsepower engine and the modern MBUX infotainment system, bridging the gap between value and contemporary tech. For local buyers, the combination of a fuel-efficient turbo-four and reliable 4MATIC all-wheel drive makes it perfectly suited for both humid coastal commutes and weekend drives to the Northern Emirates.

This Car vs Other 2020 GLC 300s

With just 24,504 km on the clock, this vehicle has covered less than a third of the average mileage for a 2020 model in the GCC. The American regional spec often includes a higher level of interior tech compared to base GCC trims, though buyers should note the specific digital radio and navigation settings. Its black exterior is a high-demand resale color in the local market, ensuring it stays liquid compared to more niche shades.

AMG vs Lower Trims

The AMG Line completely transforms the SUV's stance with aggressive front and rear aprons, a chrome-pinned diamond radiator grille, and larger 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels. Inside, the trim adds a flat-bottomed sport steering wheel and brushed stainless steel pedals, features that carry a significant premium in the used market. It also includes the high-performance LED lighting system and enhanced braking components not found on the standard base trim.

GLC 300 vs Segment Rivals

The GLC 300 leads rivals like the BMW X3 and Audi Q5 in interior material quality and cabin tech, specifically through the 10.25-inch MBUX interface with 'Hey Mercedes' voice control. Its 9G-TRONIC transmission offers smoother gear transitions than the Audi's dual-clutch in heavy Dubai traffic. While the X3 focuses on stiffness, the Mercedes-Benz provides a more refined ride quality essential for long-distance highway cruises between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 2.0L turbo engine averages around 8.1L/100km on combined cycles, making it one of the more efficient luxury crossovers for the daily commute. Maintenance in the UAE is straightforward with a vast network of authorized centers and independent specialists familiar with the X253 platform. This model typically retains approximately 60–65% of its value after three years in the GCC, with the AMG styling package acting as a buffer against steeper depreciation.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L turbocharged engine delivers a punchy 255 hp, allowing for a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 6.2 seconds. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system provides essential stability during the region's sudden rain showers and handles gravel tracks or light sand with confidence. A top speed of 210 km/h ensures effortless performance on the UAE's fast-moving E11 and E311 highways.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around the MBUX system with smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. Dual-zone climate control and powerful cooling vents ensure the interior stays chilled even when outside temperatures exceed 45°C. The AMG interior package features supportive sport seats upholstered in durable Artico, designed to withstand the intensity of the Gulf sun without premature wear.

Safety

This trim is equipped with Mercedes-Benz's full suite of safety tech, including Blind Spot Assist and Active Brake Assist, both vital for multi-lane highway driving. It also features the Pre-Safe system and Attention Assist, which monitors for driver fatigue on long desert stretches. The 360-degree camera and Active Parking Assist make navigating tight mall parking structures in Dubai or Riyadh significantly easier.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a nearly-new 2020 GLC 300 with exceptionally low mileage and the highly desirable AMG styling package. It is the ideal choice for a young professional or small family seeking the prestige of a Mercedes-Benz SUV with minimal wear and strong future resale potential.
