Summary

This 2020 Pajero GLS Midline offers a compelling balance of modern usability and legendary durability for the GCC market. With mileage sitting comfortably below the typical annual average for the region, this white SUV is well-positioned for long-term resale strength. The 3.8L V6 engine provides the necessary power for confident highway overtaking and desert exploration that smaller-engine variants lack. Mitsubishi's long-standing presence in the Gulf ensures that maintenance is straightforward and affordable across all Emirates and neighboring borders. For a buyer seeking a proven, seven-seat workhorse that handles extreme heat and varied terrain without complaint, this is a standout choice.

This Car vs Other 2020 Pajeros

With just over 65,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC. The Diamond White exterior is the most sought-after color in the local used market, ensuring faster resale and better value retention. Being a later model-year of the fourth generation, it benefits from the final refinements in cabin insulation and infotainment integration.

GLS Midline vs Lower Trims

The Midline trim adds essential GCC comforts over the base GLX, including upgraded 18-inch alloy wheels and a more refined interior finish. It features the superior 3.8L V6 engine, which offers a substantial power advantage for sand driving and highway stability compared to the 3.0L or 3.5L alternatives. You also get the convenience of a rearview camera and rear parking sensors as standard, which are vital for navigating tight urban parking in the city.

Pajero vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Toyota Prado often command a much higher price point, the Pajero offers comparable off-road hardware for significantly better value. Its Super Select II 4WD system allows for high-range four-wheel drive at speeds up to 100 km/h, a feature not always found in competitors like the Nissan Pathfinder. The Pajero's 88-litre fuel tank also provides a superior range for long-distance cross-border drives compared to many modern unibody crossovers.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.8L V6 is a robust, low-maintenance engine compatible with widely available fuel grades across the GCC. While real-world fuel consumption typically averages between 13.5 and 15.2 L/100km, its mechanical simplicity translates to very low long-term repair costs. Mitsubishi’s massive service network in the UAE and Saudi Arabia means parts are always available and competitively priced. Historically, the Pajero retains approximately 68% of its value over a 5-year period in the local market.

Performance & Capability

This 3.8L V6 produces 243 hp, enabling a top speed of 200 km/h and a 0–100 km/h time of approximately 10.8 seconds. It features a genuine low-range transfer case and a lockable rear differential, making it a true desert-capable SUV rather than just a road-biased crossover. With a 700 mm wading depth and 235 mm ground clearance, it is engineered to handle rocky wadis and soft dunes with equal confidence.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for large families, offering seven seats with a flat-folding third row for flexible cargo space. Mitsubishi’s powerful air conditioning system includes dedicated rear climate vents, ensuring all three rows remain cool even during peak summer temperatures. This trim includes the updated multimedia system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, keeping you connected during long highway commutes between Emirates.

Safety

Standard safety features include dual front airbags, Active Stability and Traction Control (ASTC), and an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD). The robust body-on-frame construction provides a rigid safety cell, while the high seating position offers excellent visibility for identifying hazards in fast-moving highway traffic. This trim also includes ISOFIX child seat anchors in the second row for family security.

The bottom line

Perfect for a GCC family that needs a dependable daily driver and a capable weekend desert explorer without the premium price tag of a Prado. This specific listing is a smart buy due to its low mileage and high-demand color.
