Summary

This 2021 ES350 F SPORT offers a compelling mix of reliability and aggressive styling, with mileage that sits comfortably below the average for a three-year-old vehicle in the GCC. The black exterior is a perennial favorite in the region, ensuring strong resale demand while complementing the bold F SPORT mesh grille. As a Lexus, it provides a more relaxed, long-term ownership experience compared to its European counterparts, particularly given the brand's legendary cooling performance in extreme heat. For a buyer looking for a sharp executive sedan that won't punish them with high maintenance costs, this specific trim is the ideal sweet spot.

This Car vs Other 2021 ES350s

With just under 43,000 km, this ES350 has been driven significantly less than the typical 60,000–75,000 km expected for a 2021 model in the highway-heavy GCC market. The black-on-black aesthetic is highly sought after locally, offering a sleek look that maintains its value better than more niche colors. Choosing this lower-mileage example provides a mechanical advantage, as it is just entering its prime service years.

F SPORT vs Lower Trims

The F SPORT trim is a significant step up from the base model, introducing an Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) that allows you to toggle between comfort and high-speed stability. Inside, you get bolstered sport seats that are both heated and ventilated—a necessity for the UAE summer—alongside a unique 19-inch wheel design and aggressive exterior styling that makes the standard ES look far more athletic. It also includes the otherwise optional Lexus Safety System+ 2.0 and a 10-speaker premium audio system as standard.

ES350 vs Segment Rivals

While the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class focus on cutting-edge tech, the ES350 leads with a naturally aspirated V6 that is far better suited to the high ambient temperatures of the Middle East. Its 60-liter fuel tank and efficient 8-speed automatic transmission make it a superior long-distance cruiser for trips between Dubai and Abu Dhabi or across borders. Lexus also offers a larger interior cabin volume and more rear legroom than the Audi A4, making it a more practical choice for families.

Running Costs & Resale

Lexus is the gold standard for value retention in the GCC, typically depreciating only 8-10% annually compared to the 15% seen in rival German brands. Fuel economy is respectable for a V6, averaging roughly 9.1 L/100km combined, and it runs comfortably on standard petrol grades available across the region. Service intervals occur every 10,000 km, and with the most extensive authorized service network in the UAE and Saudi Arabia via Al-Futtaim and Abdul Latif Jameel, parts are always readily available.

Performance & Capability

The 302 hp V6 engine provides linear, smooth acceleration that makes highway overtaking effortless, reaching 100 km/h in a verified 6.6 seconds. The F SPORT-specific Sport S+ mode tightens the steering and suspension response, giving this front-wheel-drive sedan a level of agility that belies its luxury positioning. It is perfectly engineered for the UAE's well-maintained highways, offering a quiet, vibration-free cabin even at maximum legal speeds.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary from the heat, featuring a dual-zone climate control system renowned for its cooling speed and ventilated front sport seats that provide essential airflow. The 394-liter boot offers plenty of space for golf clubs or family luggage, while the acoustic glass ensures the interior remains hushed against road noise. The F SPORT interior is further distinguished by Hadori aluminum trim and a digital cockpit inspired by the Lexus LFA supercar.

Safety

Safety is a hallmark of this trim, which earned a 5-star NHTSA rating and includes the Lexus Safety System+ 2.0 as standard. This suite provides essential tools for local traffic, such as Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, alongside All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control for relaxed highway driving. Ten airbags and a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection ensure comprehensive protection for all five passengers.

The bottom line

This F SPORT is the perfect choice for the Dubai professional who wants the aggressive looks of a performance sedan without the high-maintenance headaches of a European rival.
