Summary

This 2021 Lexus IS300 AWD is a standout choice in the GCC market, offering the rare combination of a smooth 3.5L V6 engine and All-Wheel Drive traction. With just 21,904 km, it presents as a low-mileage opportunity significantly below the average annual use seen in the UAE. The white exterior is the most sought-after color for local resale, ensuring strong value retention when you decide to upgrade. Unlike the standard turbo-four models, this V6 powertrain delivers the linear response and highway refinement that Lexus is famous for. For a buyer in the Gulf, this sedan balances prestige with the mechanical durability needed for extreme summer heat.

This Car vs Other 2021 IS300s

At under 22,000 km, this IS300 sits well below the typical 60,000–75,000 km expected for a vehicle of this age in the GCC. The white finish is a major advantage for regional buyers, as it reflects heat efficiently and commands the highest demand in the used market. Being the AWD variant, it offers superior grip on rain-slicked city roads or sand-dusted highways compared to the more common RWD versions.

AWD vs Lower Trims

The AWD trim is a significant mechanical upgrade over the base RWD model, replacing the 2.0L turbocharged engine with a robust 3.5L V6. This naturally aspirated engine is prized in the GCC for its long-term reliability and smoother power delivery. Additionally, the AWD trim includes standard heated front seats and enhanced driving dynamics via the 6-speed automatic transmission paired with the all-wheel-drive system.

IS300 vs Segment Rivals

The Lexus IS300 leads rivals like the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4 when it comes to long-term ownership peace of mind and resale value in the Middle East. While German competitors often prioritize complex tech, the IS300 focuses on cabin insulation and climate control performance, which are vital during the UAE summer. Its 66-litre fuel tank also provides a competitive highway range for long-distance trips between emirates.

Running Costs & Resale

Lexus is one of the strongest brands for value retention in the GCC, typically depreciating just 8–10% annually. Fuel consumption is rated at approximately 10.8 L/100km combined, making it efficient for a V6-powered luxury sedan. While this is an American spec vehicle, parts availability is excellent across the UAE and Saudi Arabia due to the massive shared componentry with local Lexus models. Authorized service centers like Al-Futtaim and Abdul Latif Jameel provide a vast support network for maintenance.

Performance & Capability

The 3.5L V6 engine produces a refined 260 hp, allowing for a verified 0–100 km/h sprint of 6.5 seconds. The All-Wheel Drive system provides consistent power delivery and stability during the sudden rainstorms or high-speed highway overtaking common in the region. With a top speed of 230 km/h, it remains composed and quiet even at sustained cruising speeds.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features high-quality NuLuxe synthetic leather and dual-zone automatic climate control designed to combat 45°C temperatures. With seating for five, the interior provides 1,138 mm of front legroom, ensuring a spacious environment for the driver and front passenger. The 10-speaker premium audio system and standard Apple CarPlay integration make it an ideal partner for daily commuting in Dubai or Riyadh traffic.

Safety

Equipped with the Lexus Safety System+ 2.5, this sedan includes vital GCC driving aids like Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert for multi-lane highway safety. The adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping systems significantly reduce driver fatigue during long desert drives. Ten standard airbags and a 5-star safety pedigree ensure maximum protection for all occupants.

The bottom line

This low-mileage V6 sedan is the perfect choice for a professional seeking Lexus reliability and AWD capability in the most resale-friendly color on the market.
