Summary

This 2021 E300 AMG represents the first year of the W213 facelift, offering a sharper design and a tech-heavy cabin that remains highly desirable in the GCC. With average mileage for its age and the most popular white-on-black color combination, it presents a balanced opportunity for those seeking executive presence without the depreciation curve of a new model. The AMG Line styling adds the aggressive 'A-shape' grille and sportier bumpers that significantly enhance its street appeal compared to the base variants. For a buyer in the Emirates, this spec provides the perfect blend of fuel efficiency and premium Mercedes-Benz refinement for daily commuting.

This Car vs Other 2021 E300s

At 83,000 km, this vehicle sits exactly at the expected average for a four-year-old executive sedan in the GCC, where 20,000 km per year is the standard benchmark. The white exterior is the strongest resale color in the local market, offering better heat reflection and maintaining value better than darker shades. Choosing a GCC-spec model ensures the cooling system and rubber components are built to withstand regional thermal demands.

AMG vs Lower Trims

The AMG trim upgrades the standard E300 with the striking Diamond Grille, 19-inch AMG alloy wheels, and a sportier interior featuring a Nappa leather flat-bottom steering wheel. Critically for the GCC, this trim often includes the high-resolution 360° camera system and Multibeam LED headlights which provide superior visibility during night highway drives. You also benefit from the more supportive sport seats and brushed stainless steel pedals that define the AMG cockpit experience.

E300 vs Segment Rivals

The E300 leads the BMW 530i and Audi A6 in cabin technology, featuring the dual 12.3-inch MBUX widescreen cockpit as standard. While rivals focus on a firmer driving feel, the E-Class maintains a 540-litre boot that is more practical for airport runs and family trips across the emirates. Its 66-litre fuel tank provides a significant highway range, making it a superior long-distance cruiser for trips between Dubai and Riyadh.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 7.3 L/100km, though GCC city traffic may see this rise slightly due to heavy AC usage. Service intervals follow the Mercedes-Benz 'Service A' and 'Service B' rotation every 15,000 km or 12 months, with an extensive network of authorized centers available throughout the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Historically, the E-Class holds approximately 60-65% of its value after three years in the GCC, performing better than most European rivals in the same segment.

Performance & Capability

The turbocharged 2.0L engine delivers a refined 241 hp, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 6.2 seconds and a limited top speed of 250 km/h. The 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission is tuned for seamless shifts, providing effortless overtaking power on fast-moving UAE highways. Selectable drive modes allow the driver to prioritize fuel efficiency in city traffic or sharpen the throttle response for a more engaging weekend drive.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a standout for the GCC climate, featuring dual-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents to ensure all passengers stay cool during summer. The 64-color ambient lighting system creates a premium atmosphere for evening drives, while acoustic insulation keeps the cabin remarkably quiet even at highway speeds. Standard MBUX integration offers wireless connectivity and intuitive touch controls for a modern ownership experience.

Safety

This E300 comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and the Pre-Safe system which prepares the cabin for a potential collision. The 360° camera is particularly useful for navigating tight parking spaces in urban centers like Downtown Dubai. These active systems provide peace of mind during high-speed highway commutes where traffic conditions can change rapidly.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec E300 AMG is the ideal choice for a professional seeking a modern, tech-forward Mercedes-Benz that has already cleared its steepest depreciation years while maintaining a sharp, contemporary look.
