Summary

This 2021 GLE 53 AMG Coupe offers a compelling entry point into the high-performance SUV segment, blending the aggressive fastback styling of the Coupe with the refined power of a mild-hybrid inline-six. At 5 years old with 90,000 km, this vehicle has been driven at a typical pace for the GCC, where highway commuting between emirates is standard. White remains the most sought-after resale color in the UAE, providing excellent heat management and long-term value retention. As a GCC-spec model, it is fully optimized for the region's climate and is supported by a comprehensive service network across the Middle East. For the buyer who wants the presence of an AMG without the higher running costs of a V8, this 4MATIC+ Coupe is a balanced and stylish choice.

This Car vs Other 2021 GLE53 AMGs

With 90,000 km on the odometer over 5 years, this car's mileage is exactly in line with the GCC average of 18,000–20,000 km per year. Unlike lower-mileage examples that often carry a steep premium, this listing represents a more accessible price point while still being a modern, current-generation model. The white exterior is a strategic choice for the region, known for maintaining the highest resale value and staying cooler during the peak summer months.

COUPE 4MATIC+ vs Lower Trims

The GLE 53 AMG significantly elevates the experience over the standard GLE 450 by adding the AMG-enhanced 3.0L engine and the sophisticated AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension as standard. It features the signature Panamericana grille and quad exhaust tips that are highly prized by UAE buyers for their road presence. Inside, you gain the AMG Performance steering wheel and upgraded MBUX software with track-specific telemetry and sport-tuned drive modes not found on non-AMG models.

GLE53 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The GLE 53 Coupe is frequently cross-shopped with the BMW X6 xDrive40i and the Audi Q8. While rivals offer competitive luxury, the Mercedes stands out with its 48-volt EQ Boost system that provides seamless torque fill and smoother stop-start transitions in heavy city traffic. Its interior architecture, featuring the dual 12.3-inch widescreen cockpit, is often cited as the most visually impressive in the segment, offering a level of theatre that rivals struggle to match.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this mild-hybrid powertrain typically averages around 11–12 L/100km in mixed GCC driving conditions. Service intervals are generally set at 15,000 km or 12 months, and Mercedes-Benz maintains one of the most robust authorized service networks across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. As a GCC-spec AMG, it benefits from a more stable depreciation curve compared to imported regional specs, typically retaining a strong percentage of its value at the 5-year mark due to high local demand.

Performance & Capability

The 435 hp inline-six engine allows for effortless highway overtaking, reaching 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds. The 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system is fully variable, meaning it can send 100% of power to the rear wheels for a sportier feel or distribute it for maximum grip during a sudden desert rainstorm. The standard air suspension allows you to raise the vehicle for extra clearance when navigating gravel paths or lowered for high-speed stability on the E11.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary from the UAE heat, featuring a high-output air conditioning system designed specifically for the Gulf region. Every touchpoint is finished in premium materials, with the 12.3-inch digital displays providing crystal-clear navigation through Dubai's evolving road networks. Despite the sloping coupe roofline, the interior comfortably seats five adults, and the inclusion of rear cooling vents ensures all passengers remain comfortable during long cross-country drives.

Safety

Standard safety features on this trim include a comprehensive ADAS suite with Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and a 360-degree camera system that is essential for parking a large SUV in tight urban spaces. The adaptive LED headlights provide exceptional visibility on unlit desert highways, while the 48V architecture powers active roll stabilization systems that keep the vehicle flat and secure during emergency maneuvers.

The bottom line

For the executive or family buyer looking for AMG prestige and GCC-ready cooling without the fuel appetite of a V8, this white-on-white GLE 53 Coupe is the most logical high-style choice on the market today.
