Summary

This 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE 53 AMG Coupe offers a compelling combination of performance and modern styling for the GCC market. With mileage that reflects active but responsible use, it remains a fresh alternative to brand-new inventory while sitting in the most desirable white exterior color for local resale and heat management. As a mild-hybrid performance SUV, it balances high-output 435 hp power with the refinement needed for smooth commutes between emirates. The AMG-tuned 4MATIC+ system provides superior stability during high-speed highway cruising and occasional rain-slicked roads. For the buyer who wants the aggressive Coupe profile without the extreme running costs of a V8, this inline-six model is the segment's sweet spot.

This Car vs Other 2024 GLE 53 AMGs

With 31,592 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits slightly above the annual average for luxury SUVs in the GCC but remains well within its primary service cycle. The white exterior is the highest-performing color for resale value in the UAE and Saudi Arabian markets, offering the best thermal rejection during extreme summer months. Choosing a 2024 model over an older unit ensures you receive the refreshed MBUX software and updated exterior lighting signatures standard on this facelift generation.

COUPE 4MATIC+ vs Lower Trims

The GLE 53 AMG serves as the high-performance entry into the AMG range, adding the sophisticated AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9-speed transmission and an enhanced 48-volt mild-hybrid system not found on standard GLE 450 models. GCC buyers will appreciate the standard inclusion of the 13-speaker Burmester audio system and ventilated front seats, which are often costly options on lower trims. It also features the more aggressive Panamericana grille and quad-exhaust tips that define the AMG visual identity.

GLE53 AMG vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the BMW X6 xDrive40i and the Audi Q8, the GLE 53 Coupe offers a more generous 655-litre boot capacity, making it surprisingly practical for a sport-focused silhouette. Its mild-hybrid straight-six provides a smoother power delivery than the equivalent Porsche Cayenne Coupe, which is highly beneficial for the long, steady-speed highway drives typical of the region. The interior technology, headlined by twin 12.3-inch displays, remains the benchmark for cabin luxury in this class.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption averages approximately 10.3 L/100km on combined cycles, though GCC city traffic will see higher figures while long highway stretches between cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi allow for excellent efficiency. As an AMG model, it retains value significantly better than standard luxury SUVs in the local market, typically seeing a 12–15% annual depreciation curve. Mercedes-Benz maintains an extensive authorized service network across the UAE and wider GCC, ensuring parts availability is never a concern.

Performance & Capability

The 435 hp 3.0-litre inline-six engine, assisted by an electric compressor, eliminates turbo lag for immediate overtaking power on fast GCC motorways. The 0–100 km/h sprint is achieved in 5.0 seconds, supported by the fully variable 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system that adapts to surface conditions in real-time. Multiple AMG Dynamic Select modes allow the driver to transition from a comfortable cruiser to a sharpened performance machine at the touch of a button.

Comfort & Cabin

The 5-seat cabin is designed for premium long-distance travel, featuring high-grade materials and the latest MBUX infotainment with augmented reality navigation. Dedicated rear cooling vents and standard ventilated front seats are essential for GCC summers, keeping the cabin comfortable even in temperatures exceeding 45°C. The standard 64-color ambient lighting and panoramic sunroof create an airy, customizable atmosphere that feels modern and exclusive.

Safety

Standard safety features include a 360-degree surround-view camera system, which is invaluable for navigating tight parking spaces in urban centers. It is equipped with Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist with exit warning, and Pre-Safe technology to protect occupants in the event of a detected collision. For the long desert highways, the attention assist system monitors driver fatigue to ensure safety on extended cross-border journeys.

The bottom line

For the GCC driver seeking the prestige of an AMG with the daily usability of a mid-size SUV, this 2024 GLE 53 Coupe in high-resale white is an ideal opportunity to own a nearly-new performance icon.
