Summary

This 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance represents the peak of the model's pre-refresh capabilities, combining supercar acceleration with the daily practicality of a five-seat sedan. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it retains full compatibility with the regional Supercharger network and the official Tesla app, a critical advantage for software updates and long-distance travel between emirates. The black exterior is a high-demand choice in the UAE used market, ensuring strong resale liquidity compared to more niche colors. With the Performance trim, you gain specialized track-ready hardware that distinguishes it from the standard commuter versions. For a GCC buyer, this specific listing offers the perfect balance of immediate performance and established local service support.

This Car vs Other 2021 Model 3s

With 79,000 km, this vehicle sits exactly within the expected average annual mileage for a premium daily driver in the GCC, where highway-heavy commutes are standard. Unlike high-mileage examples used for commercial transport, this car's usage suggests a private ownership profile. The black finish remains one of the top three colors for value retention in the Dubai and Abu Dhabi markets.

PERFORMANCE vs Lower Trims

The Performance trim upgrades the standard experience with a lowered suspension, uprated brakes, and the exclusive Track Mode software suite. It also features 20-inch Uberturbine wheels and a carbon fiber rear spoiler, which are highly valued aesthetics in the local market. Inside, you receive the Premium Interior package as standard, featuring a higher-fidelity 15-speaker audio system not found on base models.

Model 3 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the BMW i4 or Polestar 2, the Model 3 Performance leads significantly in raw acceleration and charging infrastructure access via the Tesla Supercharger network. Its minimalist cabin offers superior front legroom, while the dual-motor All-Wheel Drive system provides better stability on sand-dusted GCC highways. The inclusion of a standard glass roof with infrared protection is specifically designed to handle the intense local UV levels.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world efficiency typically averages 142 Wh/km, making it one of the most cost-effective vehicles to operate in GCC stop-start traffic. Service intervals are minimal compared to petrol rivals, usually requiring only cabin filter changes and tire rotations every 20,000 km. While European luxury sedans often depreciate by 15% annually, the Model 3 Performance has shown resilient value retention in the UAE, typically hovering around 10-12% annual depreciation for GCC-spec units.

Performance & Capability

The 3.3-second 0-100 km/h sprint provides effortless overtaking power on fast-moving roads like E11. With 490 hp delivered instantly through dual motors, the car maintains composure even in high summer temperatures. The low center of gravity, thanks to the floor-mounted 82.1 kWh battery, ensures flat cornering that rivals dedicated sports cars while maintaining a comfortable 140 mm ground clearance for urban speed bumps.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed for the GCC climate, featuring a powerful electric AC system that can be pre-cooled via the Tesla app before you enter the car. The minimalist 15-inch center touchscreen controls all vehicle functions, providing a clean, modern environment for long drives. Front seats are 12-way power-adjustable, ensuring comfort during cross-country trips between the UAE and neighboring GCC states.

Safety

This trim includes the full suite of active safety features, including Side Collision Warning, Emergency Lane Departure Avoidance, and Blind Spot Monitoring, which are vital for multi-lane highway driving. The car's rigid structure and eight airbags contributed to its 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating. Adaptive cruise control and Autosteer significantly reduce driver fatigue during long desert highway stretches.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec Performance model is the ideal choice for a buyer who wants flagship speed without sacrificing the peace of mind that comes with official regional support and high resale demand.
