Summary

This Ferrari Roma represents a compelling opportunity in the GCC market, combining very low mileage for a four-year-old vehicle with the region's preferred white exterior for strong resale liquidity. The front-mid engine layout offers a more sophisticated, grand-touring character than its mid-engined stablemates, making it better suited for the high-speed highway commutes between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. As a GCC-spec model, it benefits from the regional cooling adaptations essential for summer performance and maintains high trust levels for future trade-ins. For the buyer who values the prestige of the Prancing Horse with the daily usability of a 2+2 coupe, this is a refined and highly preserved choice.

This Car vs Other 2022 Ferrari Romas

With just 17,560 km on the odometer, this Roma sits well below the average GCC annual usage of 20,000 km, representing approximately half the expected mileage for a vehicle of this age. The white exterior is the highest-volume resale color in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, offering a clear advantage in liquidity over more niche paint options. Its GCC specification ensures full compatibility with local authorized service centers and regional cooling requirements.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the Roma is offered in a highly bespoke single-trim structure, this vehicle features the definitive 8.4-inch portrait-oriented central touchscreen and the massive 16-inch curved digital instrument cluster that defines the model's 'Dual Cockpit' philosophy. It includes the five-position Manettino dial on the steering wheel—a significant upgrade over the three-position unit found in the Portofino—allowing for a dedicated 'Race' mode. The standard carbon-ceramic braking system provides the fade-free stopping power necessary for high-temperature GCC driving conditions.

Ferrari Roma vs Segment Rivals

The Roma leads rivals like the Aston Martin Vantage and Bentley Continental GT V8 with a superior power-to-weight ratio and a more aggressive 0-100 km/h sprint time. While the Bentley offers more weight-driven stability, the Roma’s 3.9L V8 and 8-speed dual-clutch transmission—shared with the SF90 Stradale—provide a level of technical sophistication and gear-shift speed that few grand tourers can match. Its 80-litre fuel tank ensures respectable range for long-distance cross-border drives across the Emirates.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption is rated at approximately 11.2 L/100km combined (WLTP), though stop-start city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai will see higher figures. Ferrari’s 7-year Genuine Maintenance program typically covers scheduled annual services for this 2022 model until 2029, significantly lowering the initial cost of ownership at authorized centers like Al Tayer Motors or Fast Auto Technic. Resale value for the Roma remains strong in the GCC, with Ferrari typically experiencing more gradual depreciation than luxury sedan competitors, often retaining high value before stabilizing as a modern classic.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this Roma is the award-winning 3.9L twin-turbo V8, producing 612 hp and 760 Nm of torque, enabling effortless highway overtaking even at high ambient temperatures. The front-mid engine placement provides a 50/50 weight distribution, ensuring the car remains agile through the bends of Jebel Jais while maintaining high-speed stability. The 8-speed automatic gearbox is tuned for smooth low-speed maneuvering in urban areas and lightning-fast shifts when the Manettino is switched to Sport or Race.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed around a unique 'two-cockpit' layout that gives the passenger their own sense of engagement, often supplemented by an optional passenger-side display. For the GCC climate, the dual-zone climate control is engineered to manage cabin temperatures quickly, while the 2+2 seating configuration provides valuable interior storage space for weekend trips. High-quality leather surfacing and acoustic insulation ensure that long drives between cities remain refined and quiet.

Safety

Standard safety features include a comprehensive airbag system and Side Slip Control (SSC) 6.0, which integrates the E-Diff, F1-Trac, and Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer to maintain stability on diverse road surfaces. The Roma also features advanced driver assistance systems including autonomous emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring, which are particularly beneficial on fast-moving multi-lane GCC highways. Front and rear parking sensors with a rear-view camera are standard to assist with visibility in tight urban parking scenarios.

The bottom line

This low-mileage, GCC-spec Roma is the perfect acquisition for the executive driver seeking a daily-usable supercar that holds its value and stays cool under the Arabian sun.
