Summary

This 2022 Ford Mustang offers an ideal balance of iconic American muscle styling and modern efficiency, featuring the responsive 2.3L EcoBoost engine. Its white exterior is a top performer for resale value in the GCC, while the mileage is below average for a two-year-old vehicle in this region. Compared to the heavy V8 rivals, the EcoBoost provides a much sharper front-end feel for daily city driving in Dubai or Riyadh. This specific listing represents a strong entry point into Mustang ownership, providing the legendary silhouette and rear-wheel-drive dynamics without the high fuel overhead of larger engines.

This Car vs Other 2022 Mustangs

With 67,100 km, this Mustang has been driven roughly 33,000 km per year, which is standard for highway-heavy commuting between emirates. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the GCC used market due to its heat-reflection properties and consistently higher resale demand. Choosing this 2022 model ensures you get the refined S550 chassis with the latest standard safety tech before the generation transition.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the foundational trim for the 2022 lineup, the Standard trim focuses on the core performance essentials that GCC enthusiasts value, including the 10-speed automatic transmission and limited-slip rear differential. It avoids the electronic complexity of higher trims while still providing standard LED headlamps and the FordPass Connect system for remote features. This trim is favored by those who prefer a purist driving experience or a clean slate for personalization.

Mustang vs Segment Rivals

The Mustang EcoBoost leads the Chevrolet Camaro 2.0T and Dodge Challenger SXT in pure torque delivery, providing 350 lb-ft that makes highway overtaking effortless. Its turbocharged 4-cylinder architecture offers a significant weight advantage over the Challenger, resulting in much more agile handling through city corners. Additionally, the Mustang's cabin offers better outward visibility than the Camaro, a critical factor for navigating fast-moving GCC highway traffic.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 2.3L powertrain typically averages around 9.0 to 9.8 L/100km, offering a significant saving over V8 alternatives in stop-start city traffic. Service intervals are generally every 16,000 km, and Ford’s extensive authorized network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia ensures parts are readily available and affordable. The Mustang maintains one of the strongest resale profiles in the sports coupe segment, typically depreciating slower than European competitors.

Performance & Capability

The 310 horsepower turbocharged engine delivers a 0–100 km/h time of 5.8 seconds, providing plenty of punch for the UAE's well-maintained highways. The 10-speed automatic transmission is specifically tuned to keep the turbo in its power band, ensuring responsive acceleration at any speed. Rear-wheel drive dynamics and a standard limited-slip differential provide the classic sports car feel, whether cruising the corniche or heading out for a weekend drive.

Comfort & Cabin

The 4-seat cockpit is designed around the driver, featuring high-quality cloth bucket seats that remain cooler than leather during intense GCC summers. Standard acoustic glass helps isolate the cabin from road noise during long-distance drives across the region. The SYNC infotainment system provides seamless connectivity, while the powerful air conditioning system is engineered to handle extreme temperatures exceeding 45°C.

Safety

This Mustang comes standard with Ford Co-Pilot360, featuring Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross-Traffic Alert—essential for multi-lane highway driving. Other key safety features include Lane-Keeping System, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, and a 5-star overall crash test rating from the NHTSA. These active systems provide peace of mind during long desert drives and high-speed commutes.

The bottom line

For the buyer seeking the iconic Mustang look with lower daily running costs, this low-mileage 2022 EcoBoost is a smart, high-resale-value choice in the local market.
