Summary

This 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited is an exceptional find for GCC families, offering the perfect balance of luxury and extremely low mileage. As the extended three-row version of the iconic Grand Cherokee, it provides the versatility needed for school runs in Dubai or long weekend trips to the Northern Emirates. The Limited trim is highly sought after in the UAE market for its blend of premium leather upholstery and advanced safety tech, ensuring strong resale value. Finished in white, the region's most popular and heat-reflective color, it remains cooler in the summer months while maintaining the best possible equity for future trade-ins. For a buyer seeking a near-new flagship SUV without the showroom price tag, this 7900 km example is a primary choice.

This Car vs Other 2022 Grand Cherokee Ls

With just 7900 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered significantly less distance than the average GCC annual usage of 20,000 km. It presents a rare opportunity to own a 2022 model that has barely finished its break-in period. The white exterior is the top-performing resale color in the Middle East, making this a safer long-term investment than darker alternatives.

LIMITED vs Lower Trims

The Limited trim adds essential GCC comforts over the base Laredo, most notably premium Capri leather-trimmed seating and a power liftgate with adjustable height. It also upgrades the driving experience with a heated steering wheel and heated seats for both the front and second rows, alongside a more sophisticated 6-speaker audio system with active noise cancellation.

Grand Cherokee L vs Segment Rivals

Compared to rivals like the Ford Explorer and Toyota Highlander, the Grand Cherokee L leads with its legendary Jeep 4x4 heritage and superior cabin tech, including the standard 10.25-inch digital cluster. Its long wheelbase is specifically designed to provide adult-usable legroom in the third row, a common shortcoming in other mid-size crossovers. The 87-litre fuel tank also provides superior range for cross-border drives compared to several competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The Pentastar V6 is a staple of the region, known for its reliability and compatibility with local fuel grades. Real-world fuel consumption averages around 10.6 L/100km combined, though GCC city traffic will see higher figures. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from the extensive Stellantis authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, ensuring parts are always readily available. The Grand Cherokee L historically holds its value well in the UAE, typically seeing lower annual depreciation than its European counterparts.

Performance & Capability

Powered by the proven 3.6-litre V6, this SUV delivers 293 hp and 353 Nm of torque, providing smooth acceleration for highway overtaking. The Selec-Terrain traction management system allows the driver to toggle between modes for sand, mud, and snow, making it a capable companion for light desert excursions or gravel wadis. It also boasts a robust braked towing capacity of up to 2,812 kg, ideal for those hauling jet skis or small trailers.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is engineered for the Middle Eastern climate, featuring a powerful multi-zone automatic climate control system with dedicated vents for all three rows. Acoustic windshield glass and active noise cancellation ensure a quiet sanctuary even at high cruising speeds on the E11. The 7-seat configuration features a sliding second-row bench that tilts forward in one motion, providing effortless access to the rear for children and adults alike.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive on the Limited trim, featuring a full ADAS suite including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, which is invaluable for the daily commute between Emirates. Standard equipment also includes Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path Detection, and Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking. For easier parking in tight mall spaces, it comes equipped with ParkSense rear park assist and a high-resolution ParkView backup camera.

The bottom line

This is the ideal SUV for a growing GCC family who wants the prestige and space of a new vehicle with the proven reliability of the Jeep brand. The combination of ultra-low mileage and the high-demand Limited trim makes this one of the strongest 7-seater values currently on the market.
