Summary

This 2022 Huracan EVO Spyder is a driver-focused masterpiece, offering the raw engagement of rear-wheel drive paired with the sensory thrill of open-top motoring. With just over 10,000 km, this Japanese-spec example presents significantly lower mileage than the typical 20,000+ km annual average seen in the GCC, making it a highly attractive choice for collectors and enthusiasts alike. The Grey exterior is a sophisticated, high-demand choice in the local market, ensuring strong resale appeal alongside its iconic V10 soundtrack. Unlike the heavier AWD variants, this RWD model is celebrated for its agility and purity of steering, making every drive across the Emirates feel like a special event. It represents a rare opportunity to own a late-model naturally aspirated supercar that is perfectly suited for the UAE’s world-class highways.

This Car vs Other 2022 Huracans

With only 10,048 km on the odometer, this car has covered less than half the distance of an average 2022 model in the UAE market. While many Huracans are daily driven, this low-mileage example suggests careful, occasional use, which is a significant advantage for long-term value. The Grey finish is a perennial favorite in the GCC, offering better heat management than black while maintaining a higher resale demand than more eccentric colors.

EVO SPYDER vs Lower Trims

The EVO Spyder RWD introduces a specialized Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS) specifically calibrated for rear-drive dynamics, allowing for greater driver involvement compared to the standard Huracan. Inside, it features the upgraded 8.4-inch HMI touchscreen, which offers much-improved cabin tech and smartphone integration over earlier LP-series models. This trim also benefits from the EVO-specific aerodynamic package, providing better downforce for high-speed stability on GCC motorways.

Huracan vs Segment Rivals

Compared to rivals like the Ferrari F8 Spider or McLaren 720S, the Huracan stands apart by retaining a naturally aspirated V10 engine, offering a linear power delivery and acoustic experience that turbocharged competitors cannot match. Its mechanical reliability and the shared parts bin with the Audi R8 often result in more straightforward maintenance and better long-term durability in the extreme heat of the Middle East. Additionally, the Huracan’s front-axle lift system is famously robust, a vital feature for navigating the speed bumps of Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 13.9 L/100km, though this will increase in stop-start city traffic in areas like Downtown Dubai. Service intervals are required every 15,000 km or 12 months, and the UAE boasts a highly capable network of both authorized and specialized independent service centers. While Japanese-spec cars don't carry the same premium as local GCC-spec units, the low mileage and desirable color significantly bolster its market value, as the Huracan continues to show excellent price stability in the region.

Performance & Capability

The 602 hp V10 engine enables a blistering 0-100 km/h time of 3.5 seconds, delivering a visceral sense of speed that is amplified with the roof down. The rear-wheel-drive configuration makes the car lighter and more communicative through the corners, perfect for enthusiasts who enjoy the twisty sections of Jebel Jais. Even at its top speed of 324 km/h, the refined aerodynamics ensure the Spyder remains planted and composed, reflecting its pedigree as a true Italian thoroughbred.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a high-tech cockpit featuring a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and premium leather upholstery that remains comfortable even during long drives between Emirates. The electro-hydraulic soft top can be operated at speeds up to 50 km/h, taking just 17 seconds to transform the driving experience. The air conditioning system is remarkably powerful for a supercar, effectively cooling the compact two-seat cabin even during the height of the GCC summer.

Safety

This Huracan comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including advanced stability control, high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes, and four airbags. The P-TCS system is particularly useful in the GCC, providing enhanced traction on sandy or dusty road surfaces often found after desert winds. Standard front and rear parking sensors, paired with a clear rearview camera, make navigating tight urban parking spaces far less stressful.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who prioritizes driver engagement and the unmistakable roar of a V10, this low-mileage, exceptionally maintained EVO Spyder is the premier choice in the current UAE market.
