Highlights

• 585 hp from a 4.0L twin-turbo V8
• Three independent 100% locking differentials

Summary

This 2022 G63 AMG offers a highly attractive opportunity in the GCC market, combining low mileage for its 4-year age with the distinctive Burgundy exterior that commands attention. While many G-Wagons in the region see heavy highway use, this unit's 22,000 km suggests light duty, preserving the mechanical integrity of its hand-built V8. As a Korean spec vehicle, it provides a cost-effective entry into G63 ownership compared to local GCC-spec units, while still offering the identical 585 hp powertrain. The Burgundy color is a sophisticated alternative to the common black and white palette, maintaining strong niche appeal for resale. For a buyer looking for the iconic G-Wagon presence without the typical high-mileage wear, this listing stands out.

This Car vs Other 2022 G63 AMGs

With only 22,000 km over 4 years, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the GCC average of 20,000 km per year, representing roughly one-quarter of the expected wear. The Burgundy finish is a premium choice that offers better long-term aesthetic distinction than standard colors. While Korean regional specs may trade at a slight discount to GCC-spec equivalents, the extremely low mileage serves as a powerful offset for value retention.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the G63 AMG, this model is the performance flagship, adding the 585 hp M177 biturbo engine over the standard G500. It features the AMG-specific Panamericana grille, side-exit exhaust pipes, and the AMG Ride Control suspension as standard equipment. Inside, the Widescreen Cockpit and Nappa leather upholstery provide the high-tech, luxury environment that GCC buyers expect from the top-tier G-Class.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The G63 AMG leads rivals like the Range Rover P530 and Lamborghini Urus in raw off-road hardware, featuring a dedicated low-range transfer case and three locking differentials. Its vertical driving position and boxy silhouette offer unmatched visibility and road presence on fast-moving UAE highways. Furthermore, the G63 holds its value significantly better than most luxury SUV competitors in the regional secondary market.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 13.2 L/100km, though stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh will see higher figures. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km or annually, and Mercedes-Benz maintains a massive authorized service network across all GCC countries, ensuring easy maintenance. The G63 has one of the lowest depreciation rates in the UAE, typically retaining 65-75% of its value over three years.

Performance & Capability

The 4.0L V8 delivers 850 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint of 4.5 seconds and effortless overtaking at highway speeds. Despite its on-road speed, it remains a genuine off-roader with 241 mm of ground clearance and 700 mm of wading depth capability. The 9-speed AMG Speedshift transmission is tuned for rapid responses, whether navigating city traffic or climbing dunes.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a 5-seat luxury environment featuring the latest MBUX-based digital cockpit and multi-zone climate control designed to handle extreme summer heat. Acoustic glass and heavy insulation protect passengers from the high-speed wind noise common with the G-Class's blocky design. The upright seating provides exceptional legroom and a commanding view of the road, ideal for long cross-border drives.

Safety

Standard safety features include Active Brake Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Blind Spot Monitoring, which are vital for the multi-lane highway systems in the GCC. The G63's heavy-duty body-on-frame construction provides a robust safety cell, while the 360-degree camera system simplifies parking this large SUV in tight urban spaces. Adaptive cruise control is also included to reduce driver fatigue during long desert highway transits.

The bottom line

This is a rare chance to own a low-mileage 2022 G63 AMG in a standout color, offering significant savings over GCC-spec listings without sacrificing performance.
