Summary

This 2022 GLC 300 Coupe in AMG trim offers a compelling mix of style and practicality, featuring lower-than-average mileage for its age in the GCC market. The black-on-black color combination remains a high-demand choice in the region, ensuring better value retention when it comes time to upgrade. As a GCC-spec model, it is fully optimized for local conditions, featuring a cooling system and air conditioning tuned for extreme summer heat. Compared to its SUV sibling, the Coupe’s sleek profile makes it a standout executive choice without sacrificing the all-weather confidence of 4MATIC all-wheel drive.

This Car vs Other 2022 GLC 300s

With just 41,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC. This lower usage means less wear on the suspension and interior components, making it a highly desirable mid-term investment. The black exterior is a primary resale color in the UAE and wider region, consistently attracting a larger pool of buyers.

AMG vs Lower Trims

The AMG trim elevates the GLC 300 beyond the base model with more aggressive exterior styling, larger 19-inch wheels, and a sport-tuned interior featuring a flat-bottom steering wheel. Key additions over lower trims include the 360° surround-view camera system and enhanced MBUX navigation features, which are highly valued for navigating tight parking and fast-moving city traffic in Dubai and Riyadh.

GLC 300 vs Segment Rivals

The GLC 300 Coupe leads its closest rivals, the BMW X4 and Audi Q5 Sportback, with a more generous 545-litre boot capacity and the highly intuitive MBUX voice control system. While rivals focus heavily on firm sportiness, the Mercedes-Benz offers a superior balance of ride comfort and cabin insulation, which is particularly noticeable on long highway drives between the Emirates.

Running Costs & Resale

This petrol-powered 2.0L turbo returns a combined fuel consumption of approximately 8.1 L/100km, performing efficiently during highway cruising between cities. Service intervals occur every 15,000 km at authorized Mercedes-Benz centers, which are extensively available across the UAE, KSA, and Kuwait. As a GCC-spec car with low mileage, its depreciation rate is expected to be more stable than imported European or American alternatives.

Performance & Capability

A top speed of 236 km/h and a brisk 6.3-second 0–100 km/h sprint ensure confident highway overtaking and smooth acceleration on the E11. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system provides essential stability on sandy shoulders or during rare but heavy regional rainstorms. Drivers can toggle through DYNAMIC SELECT modes to soften the suspension for city commutes or sharpen the throttle for more engaged driving.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed for the heat, featuring a high-output air conditioning system and rear climate vents to keep all passengers comfortable in 45°C+ temperatures. The interior is defined by a 10.25-inch touchscreen and 64-color ambient lighting, allowing for a personalized atmosphere during night drives. Acoustic glass helps maintain a quiet environment, shielding occupants from high-speed wind noise on the highway.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive suite including Blind Spot Assist and Active Brake Assist, which are vital for safety on high-speed multi-lane roads. The standard 360° camera makes the sleek coupe silhouette easy to park, while the PRE-SAFE system provides an additional layer of protection by preparing the cabin for a potential impact. It also features multiple airbags and ISOFIX points for family-oriented security.

The bottom line

This is an ideal opportunity for a professional looking for a stylish, low-mileage GCC-spec coupe that has been kept well within its prime maintenance window.
